Kaylee Lively Kaylee Lively 5'7" | S Maize | 2023 State KS , 5’6”, S, Maize, ‘23
Lively is an interesting player. She can set, but she would be a solid addition as a utility player. She is athletic and enjoys playing the game. Lively finished the early morning match with three serve receptions, one dig, and one kill. She was Maize’s primary setter in 2022. She finished her senior season with 333 assists, 211 digs, and 82 kills.
Haylie Hendricks, 5’8”, OH, Sunrise Prep, ‘23
Hendricks is just a solid player. She is not the tallest player on the team, and she’s not the best jumper on the team. However, she a key cog on the team, and as she goes so goes the team. She finished with two kills, one dig, and one block.
Alexandra Workman Alexandra Workman 5'9" | MB Wichita Northwest | 2023 State KS , 5’9”, OH, Northwest (Wichita), ‘23
Workman is one of two players on the 18-1 who knows where she is headed to college. She is a workhorse and can play six rotations. She finished with seven serve receptions, three kills, three digs, one block, and one ace. Workman has signed to play with Colby Community College.
Dallas Whitman, 5’8”, MB, Campus, ‘25
Whitman is a sophomore playing up for 18-1. She is a tough player and can jump. She had five serve receptions, two kills, and two blocks in the loss to Summit 18-1. Coaches at NAIA and JUCO programs should give this gritty athlete a look.
The Kansas Rise 18-2 team lost in straight sets to One Volleyball 18-3. They finished with a 1-5 match record in the 18-Select Division.
Morgan Nedeau, 5’6”, DS/L, Campus, ‘23
Nedeau is a “team player” she played setter and back row during the match. She is a very level-headed player and works hard. She had three digs, one kill, and three assists during the early loss.
Giulia Colombo, 5’10”, MB, Life Prep, ‘23
Colombo has committed to play for Park University. She can play six rotations and is by far and away the leader for the Kansas Rise 18-2 squad. She had three kills, two blocks, and five digs in the loss to Summit 18-1.
Amaya Cohens, 5’3”, L, Northwest (Wichita), ‘24
Cohens is a junior playing up and she has the ability to continue to improve her game. She had a double-double in the two-set match with 10 serve receptions and 10 digs. She needs to improve her confidence and take control while on the court.
