Not all have been fortunate enough to crack our player rankings, but that doesn’t mean they haven’t done impressive work on the court.
Here’s a look at what the 2025 Watch List players are doing, with a look at the Hs today.
Mari Hansen 2024 Mari Hansen 2024 5'9" | S Portage Central | 2024 MI , S Portage Central/FaR Out
Hansen has shown a lot of improvements in all areas of the game over the last year. While already having a great touch on her sets, Hansen has made a lot of strides with her defensive instincts. She’s also improved on her serve to give herself a complete game. Hansen is playing with a lot of confidence and developing into a stronger leader.
Brooke Hehl Brooke Hehl 5'8" | S Lutheran Northwest | 2025 State MI , S Lutheran Northwest/Legacy
Hehl is an active player that is a good vocal leader on the court. She makes her sets look effortless, but also has the instincts and reaction time to make a quick adjustment during the play. Hehl reads the court well and has a polished defensive game to go with her setting ability. Hehl is showing the ability to pick up the tempo and find another level for herself and her offense.
Hannah Heiss Hannah Heiss 5'9" | OH Montague | 2025 State MI , OH Montague
Heiss wasn’t able to play this past prep season as she transferred from Muskegon WMC. Heiss had a role as a freshman with WMC and was part of a powerful offense that reached the Division 3 semifinals in 2021. Heiss has a lot of length and a lot of natural instincts on the court. This upcoming season is a big breakout opportunity for her as she gets to showcase what she’s been working on over the last year.
Finley Helm Finley Helm 5'9" | OH Mt. Pleasant | 2025 State MI , OH Mt. Pleasant/Attack
Helm could be one of the real hidden gems in the state. Watching her highlight tapes show she is a very explosive player. Despite only being 5’9”, Helm plays well above the net and delivers some of the most powerful attacks you will see. Helm looks very comfortable on the court and plays with a lot of swagger. She’s not afraid to go head-to-head with anyone and is confident she will succeed.
Isabelle Henry Isabelle Henry 6'1" | MB Clarkston | 2025 State MI , MB Clarkston/L2
Henry is a player that could be in line for a breakout 2023. She’s likely to take on a bigger role with Clarkston this fall and she’s adding a lot of dimensions to her game this club season. Henry is settling in nicely in the middle, tapping into a little more aggression, while showing improved footwork and the ability to mix up her shots and locations. Already an active blocker, Henry is becoming more and more of a consistent offensive force.
