<p>We are currently in the heart of bid season for nationals. Many teams are playing back-to-back weekends at massive tournaments trying to earn or up their bids for USAV nationals this summer. This is a tough but exciting part of the season with a lot of team travel. Here are the teams that qualified in March from the Badger Region!</p>

<p>This team is on a roll this season. They won the American division of the Northern Lights Qualifier in January, then turned around and improved their bid to a Liberty division bid with a 2nd place finish at the Mideast Qualifier. This team shows grit and never backs down from a challenge. Pin hitter [player_tooltip player_id='181813' first='Addison' last='Albrecht'] has huge power and manufactures points for her team. The setters on this team are both high-level athletes. [player_tooltip player_id='144816' first='Mariah' last='Potter'] and [player_tooltip player_id='181810' first='Grace' last='Fruzen'] will run down nearly any ball and are aggressive in decision-making. Libero [player_tooltip player_id='151740' first='Laurin' last='Hamann'] is an athlete with huge potential - she is a leader on the court and will be aggressive on any ball that comes over the net. [player_tooltip player_id='179730' first='Marin' last='Grossman'] is another impact pin on this team. Her vertical and high contact point with her arm swing helps her earn points using a variety of shots. Defensive specialist [player_tooltip player_id='211469' first='Keira' last='Jahner'] recently committed to UW-Stevens Point and has been proving her potential to play at the next level with her high-level play this season. </p>

<h2>Sting 16 White</h2>

<p>Sting 16 White has had a very successful season. They are gritty and scrappy and don't make a lot of errors. Their back row is super strong, with [player_tooltip player_id='178270' first='Ellie' last='Bruns'] as libero and [player_tooltip player_id='178347' first='Sophia' last='Peterson'] as a defensive specialist. [player_tooltip player_id='178338' first='Lauren' last='Wigley'] also plays in the back row out of the right back. She has a good platform and reads opposing players well. Lauren can also swing and is a versatile athlete who can play multiple roles on the team. [player_tooltip player_id='178037' first='Morgan' last='Festerling'] is a middle with a high contact point and numerous impactful shots. [player_tooltip player_id='178247' first='Addison' last='Schoenberger'] is versatile across the front row. The list can go on with talented athletes on this team. They have great chemistry on the court and trust each other. They won the Liberty division at MEQ and come home with some new hardware and a bid. </p>

<h2>Sting 16 Gold</h2>

<p>It seems that any lineup this Sting 16 Gold team puts out, they are successful. All three of their defensive players, [player_tooltip player_id='178026' first='Olivia' last='Durst'], [player_tooltip player_id='178024' first='Kati' last='Berezowitz'], and [player_tooltip player_id='178031' first='Natalie' last='Powers'], are ranked in the top 15 in the class. [player_tooltip player_id='178043' first='Madison' last='Marx'] and [player_tooltip player_id='178032' first='Billie' last='Reiter'] both run a clean and consistent offense. [player_tooltip player_id='178039' first='Hailey' last='Goebel'] has proven what a dynamic and versatile athlete she is. She has been playing a bit of middle and on the pin. [player_tooltip player_id='277420' first='Allie' last='Beers'] is another athlete who has played across the front row successfully. The talent on this team runs deep, and their 3rd place finish and Open bid to nationals prove they can compete at the highest level. </p>

<h2>Sting 18 Gold</h2>

<p>Sting earned a bid at the Badger Qualifier and one week later earned their Open bid to nationals at the Boston Qualifier. This team has some of the top recruits, including [player_tooltip player_id='122568' first='Lilly' last='Wagner'], who is a 2024 playing up on this 18 Gold team. [player_tooltip player_id='91895' first='Molly' last='Berezowitz'] was key in the back row for Sting. She is consistent, scrappy, and fearless. Fellow back row player, [player_tooltip player_id='91881' first='Kati' last='Goba'], plays lights-out defense and has a clean platform on serve receive. [player_tooltip player_id='82916' first='Sylvie' last='Zgonc'] and [player_tooltip player_id='91877' first='Karissa' last='Fortune'] are explosive pin hitters who manufacture points and have big, momentum-changing plays. </p>

<p>Do not underestimate this Sting team. They won the Liberty division at the Boston Qualifier. [player_tooltip player_id='91868' first='Katherine' last='Thompson'] is an incredibly talented libero who is aggressive and fearless on the court. She is disciplined yet scrappy. Setter [player_tooltip player_id='149589' first='Hannah' last='Trotter'] is an athlete who moves the ball around with seeming ease. She makes smart decisions on the court and quickly runs down balls and puts up great sets. [player_tooltip player_id='149592' first='Maddison' last='Berger'], [player_tooltip player_id='184771' first='Kenna' last='Kornely'], and [player_tooltip player_id='149579' first='Ella' last='Kern'] are all high-value pins who pack a punch with their swings. [player_tooltip player_id='149590' first='Briella' last='Wrench'] and [player_tooltip player_id='122528' first='Sophia' last='Nowak'] are hard-working middles who push to close blocks and are always engaged on offense. </p>

<p>[program_tooltip program_id='428591' first='FC' last='Elite'] 18 Elite looked great at MEQ. [player_tooltip player_id='122502' first='Bryn' last='Janke'] and [player_tooltip player_id='246946' first='Jordan' last='Czajkowski'] run their offense like a well-oiled machine. Libero [player_tooltip player_id='277430' first='Peyton' last='Carlson'] and defensive specialist [player_tooltip player_id='122583' first='Izabelle' last='Shea'] are consistent forces in the back row. Some key offensive weapons for [program_tooltip program_id='428591' first='FC' last='Elite'] include [player_tooltip player_id='122483' first='Ella' last='Demetrician'], [player_tooltip player_id='91880' first='Kyla' last='Dunaway'], and [player_tooltip player_id='91911' first='Meghan' last='Scholz']. Their 5th place gold finish at MEQ secured their Open bid to USAV Nationals. They had previously won the Badger Qualifier and earned a National bid. </p>
