This is your one of your last shots of the season to see of these players in action!
After the month off in May, it is go, go, GO, in June. The madness of the national tournament circuit begins and before you know it, the club season will come to a close!
Can Am is bringing in some of the best in the midwest to the home of Motown for one last tournament before the madness begins in June. Here’s all you need to know and the players you need to see before break.
Here are five players to look out for at Can Am in the 2025 class!
– 6’1 S – L2
If you would’ve told me that this was Giehtbrock’s first season as a full-time setter, I would’ve told you you were crazy! She’s very easily the heart and soul to this L2 squad. With her height, athleticism and physicality, Giehtbrock brings a lot of intangibles to the position that you just don’t see everyday.
– 6’0 MB – Dead Frog
Watching her soar through the air, its quite a feat to slow this player down. Hughes is arguably one of the most dynamic and underrated middles in this class coming out of Michigan. You simply cannot miss seeing her in action, you will not be disappointed!
– 6’2 MB – Michigan Elite
This class is absolutely stacked in the middle when it comes to the Mitten state.is easily a top prospect and playing up a year with Michigan Elite 17 Mizuno. What was once a raw product, is turning out quite well and even becoming a top scorer for this team as of late.
– 5’10 OH – Circle City
Yet, another top tier pin to come out of the Circle City cannon, this is one you got to keep on your radar. She’s a complete player that can bring the heat at the net and play some great defense in the back court. Lucas will be looking to be at top form this weekend as Circle City is a favorite to win the 16s division at Can Am.
– 5’11 OH – Legacy
Arguably one of the highest stock risers throughout the 2022-2023 season has to be! After an explosive season with Saline, she’s continuing the rise with her crew at Legacy and thriving in her role. All she does is pass dimes and when in flight, Laurio is absolutely unstoppable!
