Even if a pass is off, a setter is expected to make a play and turn a bad pass into a good set. We see it often where setters run all over the court and still manage to get under a ball and set it on target. Being a setter is not an easy position. These young ladies stepped into that role and took on the challenge to be a leader in the game. Not every set will be perfect but a setter will try and turn nothing into something. They will learn the different sets their hitters like and will try and memorize each one. The setter position requires a strong mentality and a player who learns from mistakes and not dwell on them. Keep bringing hot hands to the game!
