Located at Michigan Elite Volleyball Academy , this event is open to all 2023-26 girl prospects and will be an opportunity to be seen by hundreds of college coaches.
Registration for the event is still available. The showcase takes place from 6-8 p.m.
Included in this year’s attendees include some 2024 prospects looking to secure a college home in the coming year.
Here’s a look at some of the 2024 prospects that have registered as of Tuesday morning.
Monique Diehl Monique Diehl 6'2" | MB Grass Lake | 2024 State MI , MB Grass Lake/Michigan Elite
Diehl is an imposing 6-foot middle that has a high ceiling to work toward. She has a good connection with her setters, but also has shown the ability to adjust quickly with her swing. Diehl is able to place the ball at a variety of locations at the net and has a really quick delivery.
Emma Dunn Emma Dunn 5'7" | DS/L Chippewa Valley | 2024 MI , DS/L Chippewa Valley/Crank It
Dunn has shown a lot of growth in the last year, being a defensive stalwart for Chippewa Valley during the prep season. She is very composed in the back row and has been consistent with her serve receive and passing. Dunn isn’t easily rattled and is able to get squared up to the ball in most instances.
Kayla Mulder, OH Whitehall
Mulder was able to play either pin for Whitehall this past prep season and she showed a strong finishing ability at both locations. Mulder has good athleticism and is able to cover a lot of ground to make her swings. She can dial up the fastball and also work offspeed swings for points.
Kora Nicolanti Kora Nicolanti 5'10" | OH Bloomfield Hills | 2024 State MI , OH Bloomfield Hills/Unified
Nicolanti was a standout from our most recent showcase and we are excited to see her growth in recent months. She displays a well-rounded game and is able to improvise quickly to a play. Nicolanti shows a passion for the game and wants to make the most out of each opportunity. She can find a way to succeed in any situation.
Caitlin O’Neill Caitlin O’Neill 5'10" | S Ann Arbor Skyline | 2024 State MI , S Skyline/L2
O’Neill was another notable performer during the December showcase. She was locked in throughout the showcase and put forth impressive and consistent sets. Her form and focus was on point. As a setter at Skyline, O’Neill got to work with one of the state’s greatest hitters in history. That should have helped elevate her game going forward.
Joy Pryor Joy Pryor 5'5" | DS/L Mount Pleasant | 2024 State MI , DS/L Mt. Pleasant/Michigan Elite
Pryor is a solid all-around athlete that has put in the time and effort to become a standout defender. Though she may wear the libero jersey, she’s not been afraid to take back row swings when needed. Her athleticism allows her to move around the back row smoothly and get into good technical position to make an accurate pass on her digs and in her serve receive. There’s a lot of promising aspects of her game.
