Lone Star Classic is known for being one of the hardest qualifiers to earn a bid at. That means there are tons of athletes that will never make the gold medal game but are big time ballers. She is the type of player you want on your team: smart, fast, encouraging, intellegent, and intense. She can absolutely play any position at anytime and she doesn't back down from a challenge. She will step up to the plate against a tough hitter and takes on a huge responsibility in defense. She knows her angles and spaces on the court that are open for easy kills. She does have a heavy arm and will use it when neccessary. She will attack a big block and huge opponents hands for a quick tool kill. She is a ball of momentum when she steps onto the court. I like her at the setting position because of her strength to be able to push the ball all over the court even on bad passes. She has great volleyball IQ because of her willingness to be thrown into the game and learn from every touch. She has been able to make some amazing reads in defense to keep the ball alive. She often has double digit digs because of her quick reaction time. She has a good feel for passing to the center of the court, and no matter where she is standing, she always seems to angle the ball to the center of the court for the dig. Eris shows a very consistant digging pattern and technique. [player_tooltip player_id='231577' first='Eris' last='Headlee'] is a part of a team with big power hitters.
