We are winding down our look at the Watch List players in the Class of 2025 rankings.

Through the dig into each player, we can see just how deep this class really is.

Here's a look at the Watch List talents in R-S.

[player_tooltip player_id='288964' first='Anya' last='Rankin'], OH Lakeview/Redline

Rankin is a smooth player that is able to finish points no matter how the play is developing. She is able to take out-of-system balls and put good power behind her shot, or mix in a lofty offspeed swing to play over the block. Rankin moves well around the court and has a polished defensive game as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='224603' first='Anna' last='Rich'], S/RS Troy/High Performance

[player_tooltip player_id='224603' first='Anna' last='Rich']

Rich is able to use her athleticism to play both setter and the right side. Her hitting ability has helped her as a setter, getting the ball to her hitters quickly and accurately. Rich has a good read of the play as its developing and can stay ahead of the blockers with her awareness.

[player_tooltip player_id='156327' first='Marley' last='Richmond'], S Traverse City Central/FaR Out

Richmond has all the sets and speeds in her bag of tricks. Richmond has had a great connection with her middles and puts a nice touch on the sets to the outside. She looks very composed on the court and quietly handles her defensive responsibilities well.

[player_tooltip player_id='156328' first='Samantha' last='Roffi'], S Garden City/Michigan Elite

Roffi is light on her feet and is quite spry in her defensive effort. She is able to make some tough plays defensively with her quick reaction time. That agility also helps in her setting game, where she's able to put a lot of air on her challenging sets and also finish off points on her own when she sees a hole in the blockers.

[player_tooltip player_id='156329' first='Sidney' last='Shephard'], S Whitehall

Shephard has quietly put together a really strong overall game. She had Whitehall hitting at a high percentage collectively, including herself. She finished with 122 kills and hit .383. That was while racking up over 1,000 assists. Shepherd was a vocal leader and communicated well with her hitters and able to bring the best out of them.

[player_tooltip player_id='156330' first='Ella' last='Sikorski'], DS/L Regina/Monsters

Sikorski has been a part of the Regina varsity since she was a freshman. She's shown a lot of poise for playing against some of the best hitters in the state as a young talent. It's paying off, as he confidence and instincts are getting stronger with each match.

[player_tooltip player_id='288965' first='Liliana' last='Smith'], S/RS Flushing/Michigan Elite

Smith stands 5'10” but seems to play even longer. Her long wingspan helps her make plays as a setter or hitter. Smith is able to attack at a high point and challenge the defense with difficult angles. Smith has also excelled from the service line.

[player_tooltip player_id='156331' first='Madison' last='Stager'], RS Flat Rock/L2

Stager has been able to play either pin. The 6'2” hitter does a good job of taking what comes to her and putting a nice pop on the ball regardless. Her out-of-system swings are still strong, while her in-system swings are able to power through blocks.

[player_tooltip player_id='224604' first='Katerina' last='Stout'], MB Dakota/Michigan Elite

[player_tooltip player_id='224604' first='Katerina' last='Stout']

Stout is another strong middle to come out of the Dakota program. Standing 6'2”, what is most noticeable about Stout isn't her length, but her hang time. She seems like she is able to float in the air at times while waiting for a set. That leads to a lot of highlight-reel kills at sharp angles. Stout has a real high ceiling for being a finisher at the position.

[player_tooltip player_id='156332' first='Jaelyn' last='Sundberg'], S Montague/Inside Out

Sundberg put up over 1,200 assists for Montague's varsity squad in the 2022 prep season. She's developed into a proven leader on the court. Sundberg plays with a lot of quickness and is able to get low to the floor to make the toughest sets. There is a nice spring on her sets that gives her hitters a chance to generate a powerful swing.
