Team Pineapple 16 Black
The three-headed monster that I’ve been touting all club season represents three separate positions. Addy Tindall Addy Tindall 6'3" | OH Homestead | 2025 State #20 Nation IN (’25, 6-2 OH, Homestead) is a big and physical primary passing outside that can hit shots most kids at this position (and in any class) can hit. Far and away, Addi’s performance stands out as one to watch. Ava Tindall Ava Tindall 6'0" | MB Homestead | 2025 State IN (’25, 6-1 MB, Homestead) is also big and physical, and even shows her size on defense at the net. I like her availability on every transition play to be ready to hit as well as her work ethic throughout a match, regardless of the score. Katie Mills Katie Mills 5'6" | DS/L Bellmont | 2025 State IN (’25, 5-6 DS/L, Bellmont) is a no-doubt libero recruit for the class of ’25. She can easily receive serve on half of the court and takes the pressure off of her bigger teammates that aren’t as solid on floor defense as she.
Grand Park 161E Pegasus
This is the first time I’ve been able to chat about this particular regional team, but they don’t play a regional schedule and they don’t have “regional talent”. take Mya Cunningham Mya Cunningham 5'8" | S Westfield | 2025 State IN (’25, 5-9 S, Westfield) for instance. She uses her feet to get to every pass, has high and strong hands to set with and always seems to locate the ball exactly where the hitters need it to score points. Deborah Derksen Deborah Derksen 5'10" | MB Carmel | 2025 State IN (’25, 5-10 MB, Carmel) is a strong middle that excels at attacking in front of the setter. She also takes a ton of space on the block and is relentless in transition. Finally, Mckenna Wilken Mckenna Wilken 5'11" | MB Brebeuf Jesuit | 2025 State IN (’25, 5-10 OH, Brebeuf) has a whip of an arm and uses her long legs to take less steps in transition.
Empowered 16 Elite Red
Speaking of talent, it’s hard to believe that this squad has so much of it. Lexie Robokoff Mullen Lexie Robokoff Mullen 5'11" | MB Homestead | 2025 State IN (’25, 5-11 MB, Homestead) is yet another big and physical player from Homestead that looks to be a full-time M2 at the next level. Her attack in front of the setter is heavy. Arianna Christman Arianna Christman 5'11" | OH Bishop Dwenger | 2025 State IN (’25, 5-11 OH, Bishop Dwenger) has a quick transition and a springy nature to her that allows her to put balls away regularly against smaller and slower blocks. Leena Leichty Leena Leichty 5'8" | S Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian | 2025 State IN (’25, 5-8 S, Blackhawk Christian) already has a state championship trophy on her mantle as the 5-1 setter for the Braves this past fall. With over 1000 assists already in her career, she’s fully capable of running the offense, any offense, at a high level.
