Empowered 16 Elite Navy
This roster is filled with hybrid players. Most have more than one position listed, and not just because they think they can. Both Grace Schott Grace Schott 5'8" | RS Churubusco | 2025 State IN (’25, 5-8 OH/RS, Churubusco) and Emma Schott Emma Schott 5'8" | OH Churubusco | 2025 State IN (’25, 5-8 OH/DS, Churubusco) will have you seeing double, but both can produce in multiple positions. Grace can attack and defend from both pins, while Emma looks to be a primary passing outside who looks to defense as her calling. Taylor Eggering Taylor Eggering 5'11" | MB East Noble | 2025 State IN (’25, 5-11 RS/MB, East Noble) is a long and lean athlete that probably plays middle more than right side, but in her case can do either (offensively and defensively) on any roster.
Academy 16E Dragons
Smaller, but more defensive-minded, this roster has a bunch of kids that play bigger than their stature. Ella Wilczynski Ella Wilczynski 5'5" | S Carmel | 2025 State IN (’25, 5-5 S, Carmel) definitely fits that mold, and can do anything from being one of a pair of setters in a 6-2 to running the show all on her own. Isabelle Martinelle Isabelle Martinelle 5'3" | DS/L Scecina Memorial | 2025 State IN (’25, 5-3 DS/L, Scecina) can play all three back row positions, adjusts well on defense and serve receive, and has fast feet and a quiet platform to work with.
