It doesn't matter what level you play at when you think about the fact that NCAA research shows that only four percent of high school volleyball players play in college. Texas is second to none when it comes to our players earning the right to play at the next level. The offers for our wonderful Texas players keep coming. We love to see the pictures and news of these players as they are achieving their dreams. We are proud to announce some news from the recruiting front. There are three more players who have just committed to college volleyball programs recently and we would like to share the news. These young ladies have been hard at work during the club and high school volleyball season. They also have been hard at work on the recruiting scene getting offers from schools and have made their college decisions. Help us in congratulating them on the amazing news.

[player_tooltip player_id='176655' first='Tabitha' last='Allen'] [2023] 6-1 Right Side/Outside (HS: Rouse/Club: Austin Performance/Verbal: Chaminade University)

Tabitha is currently ranked as the 150th best overall prospect in the 2023 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays volleyball at Rouse High School and also plays club for Austin Performance. We have been watching her play for the past few years and she has been a solid contributor her both school and club at the net. While mainly playing on the right side of the court, she has been a stopper on the blocking side. Her size and power in her upper body help her press and seal the net from would-be attackers. Her main weapon is a thunderous line shot that many teams have a tough time stopping. I love how she is able to stay patient and allow the ball to cross over to her right shoulder in order to time it perfectly. One of the best aspects of her play is how Rouse HS used her in six rotations as a right side. They left her in and she had amazing ball control out of serve receive. This gave them a super solid offensive weapon to use while she was in the right back zone and they used it often. We are proud to announce that she has decided to play college volleyball at Chaminade University. We know that she will do great things during the college season. Please help us congratulate her on achieving her dream of playing at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='224747' first='Abigail' last='Montes'] [2023] 6-0 Setter (HS: Kingwood/Club: TAV Houston/Verbal: McNeese State)

Abby is currently an unranked prospect in the 2023 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but is on our official watch list. She is a solid setter from Kingwood High School and also plays club for TAV Houston. One aspect that immediately stands out is her size and speed on the court. I love how she is able to track down any pass/dig and be in perfect posture in order to deliver the ball to her attackers. Because of her height in the position, any coach can leave her in the front row and she would be able to battle at the net against any attacker while blocking. Her aggressive play sealing the net is one huge reason while she will excel at the next level. The ball comes out of her hands so fast and so clean as she pushes the pace to her pin hitters. She will do very well delivering the ball at faster tempos to college level hitters. We are proud to announce that she recently committed to playing volleyball at McNeese State University. Please help us congratulate her on achieving her dream of playing college volleyball.

[player_tooltip player_id='176658' first='Stella' last='Robinson'] [2023] 6-0 Middle (HS: Lago Vista/Club: Austin Skyline/Verbal: Susquehanna University)

Stella is currently ranked as the 183rd best overall prospect in the 2023 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays at Lago Vista High School and club for Austin Skyline. Miss Robinson has been super solid during her four-year campaign on the volleyball courts. Widely regarded as an amazing teammate, we have heard many stories of her awesome leadership. The two-sport stud starred for her softball team also while playing at Lago Vista. She has great power in her frame and can bring the heat when needed. This was done on the pitching mound and also while attacking on the volleyball court. Her right arm is golden as she had 513 career kills on a great .225 hitting percentage. She is very versatile as she is able to play both opposite and out of the middle. This versatility will be shown as she plays in college next season. We are proud to announce that she has committed to playing volleyball at Susquehanna University. Please help us congratulate her on realizing her dream of playing at the next level.

We are just now getting caught up with all of the commitments that have happened this past year. There are many more amazing players that are getting offers. Stay tuned for more articles on your favorite athletes to see where they end up. If you have anyone you think we should watch out for, please shoot me an email with some info at Michael@prepdig.com. Also don't forget to help these kids get more exposure by sharing our stories with your friends. Help us help them by simply retweeting on Twitter or sharing on Facebook. Thanks for following Texas Family!
