Recruiting Commitment Updates Vol 61

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It doesn't matter what level you play at when you think about the fact that NCAA research shows that only four percent of high school volleyball players play in college.&nbsp; Texas is second to none when it comes to our players earning the right to play at the next level.&nbsp; The offers for our wonderful Texas players keep coming.&nbsp; We love to see the pictures and news of these players as they are achieving their dreams.&nbsp; We are proud to announce some news from the recruiting front.&nbsp; There are three more players who have just committed to college volleyball programs recently and we would like to share the news.&nbsp; These young ladies have been hard at work during the club and high school volleyball season.&nbsp; They also have been hard at work on the recruiting scene getting offers from schools and have made their college decisions.&nbsp; Help us in congratulating them on the amazing news.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Sarah Casteneda [2023] 5-5 Setter (HS: Victoria East/Club: Texstar/Verbal: Victoria College)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Sarah is currently an unranked prospect in the 2023 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings.&nbsp; She plays volleyball at Victoria East High School and also plays club for Texstar.&nbsp; The All-District floor general is no stranger to playing volleyball at the highest level possible.&nbsp; She has been a staple in her community and has enjoyed a lot of accolades during her career.&nbsp; She is known to be a great hustler on the court and fights very hard no matter the circumstance.&nbsp; Miss Casteneda being only five foot five will battle at the net with anyone if she needs to and has great timing to block bigger hitters.&nbsp; She is the type of leader that you want running your squad.&nbsp; Do not sleep on her because of her height as she has tons of heart and plays with a lot of fire to lead her team.&nbsp; She can push the ball to the pins from any location on the court.&nbsp; I also love that she is able to play defense like a libero and that will definitely help a college program.&nbsp; We are proud to announce that she has decided to play college volleyball at Victoria College. &nbsp;Please help us congratulate her on achieving her dream of playing at the next level.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Addison Goss&nbsp;[2023] 5-4 Libero (HS: Rockwall/Verbal: Tarleton State)&nbsp;</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Addi is currently an unranked prospect in the 2023 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings.&nbsp; She is a stud defender who plays at Rockwall High School.&nbsp; Miss Goss is a very underrated libero who can fly around with the best of them.&nbsp; She covers tons of ground all across the court with some very fast footwork.&nbsp; You hardly ever see her feet crossover each other as she shuffles to the ball.&nbsp; This kind of balance with her lower body will translate very well to the next level as the game gets even faster.&nbsp; As a libero, she excels in keeping the ball off of the floor no matter where it is.&nbsp; Her small frame extends way beyond what you think her normal reach would be during emergency lunges to the ball.&nbsp; She is not afraid of hitting the floor if need be to keep her team in the rally.&nbsp; True volleyball aficionados will thoroughly enjoy watching her play the libero position as she sprawls out and adds so much excitement to the game.&nbsp; &nbsp;She plays at Atascocita High School and club for TAV Houston.&nbsp; Miss Suarez is a player who can do many things on a volleyball court.&nbsp; She has the hands to deliver nice sets to hitters and also the arm swing to score on defenses.&nbsp; Her size allows her to battle well while blocking.&nbsp; You very rarely see a player who can literally do it all on the court, but that is what Miss Suarez does.&nbsp; It is funny because her film online has a title of “ a little bit of everything” and it is true to its word!&nbsp; She does a little bit of everything and she does it well.&nbsp; The way the ball comes out of her hands during her backsets is beautiful to say the least.&nbsp; Defensively, she is a beast who can dig anyone and has proven it time and time again.&nbsp; I thoroughly enjoyed watching her play and know she will be a great asset to her college program the moment she steps foot on campus next season.&nbsp; We are proud to announce that she has committed to playing volleyball at Howard Payne University.&nbsp;
