We had amazing athletes join on us for our showcase on April, 14th from many states around the country. There were a lot of athletes who stood out to our court coaches and scouts for a variety of reasons. Players stood out for their physical skills and dynamic athletic abilities, as well for other intangibles as being leaders of their courts, dynamic work ethic, and ability to adapt to a variety of drills throughout the showcase. Let’s introduce some of the athletes who received Top Performer Honors in the Middle position group at our SLC Showdown Showcase.
Teagan Pocius is currently ranked 25th in the Class of 2026 according to our Prep Dig Missouri State Rankings. Teagan has been added to our Prep Dig Watch List for the State of Missouri. She currently attends Marquette High School and plays at Rockwood Thunder Volleyball Club in the State of Missouri. At the SLC Showcase Teagan brought a fire to the Middle (MB) position. Her ability to attack the ball in a variety of ways, and as well have great awareness at the net to read attackers makes her a true threat. What stood out to our court coaches and scouts was her ability to go from pin to pin and have a big presence as a blocker. Her technique at the net is great for her age, and she has a true understanding on how to use different blocking footwork to get to the spots necessary to be an effective defensive presence on the net. In addition Teagan’s ability to press over the net consistently shows the attention to detail she has as a defender. We believe Teagan is a solid player and it was a joy to have her at our Showcase.

Madison Hendricks is an unranked prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig Florida Rankings. Madison attends West Orange High School and plays at OTVA Volleyball Club in the State of Florida. Madison obtained a lot of attention from our court coaches and scouts in attendance at the SLC Showcase. She was able to demonstrate a lot of the skills that are necessary in being a high level Middle (MB), in relation to her quickness and lively arm. A couple of aspects that she was able to demonstrate was her ability to understand how to run 3’s and back 1’s effectively. She understands when and how to run these specific sets with her setters, and this gives her the ability to be an effective attacker in the front row. Her quickness allows her to run a fast tempo which gives her an advantage against opposing blockers and gives her the ability to find gaps in the block to score. We are excited to see her progress in her volleyball journey and believe she is a solid player for the Class of 2025.
