Continue ReadingWe are a month and a half away from the culmination of the club season…USA Jr Nationals, which will be held in Chicago at the end of June and early July. Prep Dig has once again renewed our partnership with USA Volleyball to run the Pre-Tournament Showcase the day before the tourney starts. It will be held at the McCormick Place Convention Center where the tourney is being held. We are going to be previewing some of the players who have signed up to participate that we think all recruiters should be watching. The one aspect that sets our showcases apart from every other one in the country is how we offer coverage, before, during, and after it is completed. Without further ado, here are a few players who you should be watching at the showcase.
Lola Isaeff [2025] 5-10 Outside (HS: Brandeis/Club: San Antonio Juniors /Verbal: Uncommitted)
Lola is currently an unranked prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays volleyball at Brandeis High School and also plays club for San Antonio Juniors . Miss Isaeff is a very bouncy attacker who can play both pin positions and has stellar ball control. Lola can be seen scoring in a variety of ways for her squad as she has a strong right arm that can throttle the ball when needed. She also has a killer line shot that she can either turn on in mid-air or swing across her body to fool the blockers. As an attacker she can high-point the ball at the peak of her swing, which helps her to not be blocked much as the blockers have to have perfect timing on it. She creates some serious momentum during in-system free ball plays and serve receive as she starts her touch point well beyond the three-meter attack line and drives her legs into the ground during her approach. She is someone who I am very intrigued to watch in the attacking drills we will put her through during the showcase.
Francesca Lorenzo Francesca Lorenzo 5'11" | OH Montini Catholic | 2026 IL [2026] 5-11 Outside (HS: Montini Catholic/Club: 1st Alliance/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Francesca is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Illinois State Rankings, but that is only because they have not been finalized yet. She is listed on our official watch list and will have no problem making the rankings when they come out. She plays volleyball at Montini Catholic High School and club for the nationally recognized 1st Alliance program. I have been watching Miss Lorenzo very closely over the club season from across the nation since I was introduced to her exploits in person at one of our showcases we ran early in the club season in Illinois. I was absolutely blown away when I saw that she was so young but she was killing it on the older courts. She was able to earn our Game Changer award for that showcase and I cannot wait to see how much she has progressed when she steps foot on the courts in front of us again. Her offensive arsenal is deep as she can score from any location on the court with authority. She is the real deal and although only a freshman, she deserves to be looked at by every college in the country already. Stay tuned for more on Miss Lorenzo as I think her ceiling is extremely high.
Ella Moss [2025] 5-4 Libero (HS: Barron Collier/Club: USA South/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Ella is currently an unranked prospect in the 2025 class according to our Prep Dig Florida State Rankings, but that is only because they have not been released yet. She plays volleyball at Barron Collier High School and club for USA South. She has a solid platform that the ball rebounds nicely off of. Her head stays focused on the opposition so that she puts herself in a solid position to play defense. She is able to handle hard driven balls with ease and creates a very good angle to deliver the ball to her setter. Primarily playing out of the right back zone for her clubs squad, she contributes well for them keeping them in every rally. Not much is able to fall near her zone as she has great emergency techniques and is able to read well to set herself up in the perfect position to play the ball. I also love how she is able to dig the ball with her hands as it allows her to have a much larger defensive range. She spreads her fingers out nicely and covers a lot of surface area on the ball to ensure great control.
