Continue ReadingUSA Jr Nationals, which will be held in Chicago at the end of June and early July, is the ultimate test to the end of the season as it will bring together all of the teams who have earned a bid to participate. These wonderful teams have proven themselves through a very long and grueling club season and will compete against other top notch teams who have earned the right to play in this prestigious tourney. We will be highlighting teams and individual players that we think you should be watching during the tourney in this series of articles. Let’s take a look at a few names to know!
Drive Nation 15 Red will be competing in the National Division of USA Jr Nationals. They are from the North Texas Region and have been competing in the Open division of national qualifiers all season long. They have some stars on the rise that many college scouts would be interested in. Here are just a few of the names to know from their talented squad.
Kareena “Coco” Natarajan Kareena “Coco” Natarajan 6'0" | S Lovejoy | 2026 State TX [2026] 5-11 Setter (HS: Lovejoy/Club: Drive Nation/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Coco is currently ranked as the 43rd best overall prospect in the 2026 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She is the next great setter for powerhouse program Lovejoy High School and also plays club for Drive Nation. I wrote an article on her when she attended one of our showcases earlier this year and here is a little of what I wrote, “This young lady stole the show according to multiple court coaches on Saturday. The lefty setter was phenomenal against much older competition all day long. She dazzled in the setter positional drills and transferred that talent straight to the scrimmage drills really easily. I loved watching her connect with the middles so well which is the sign that she is sprinting towards the state rankings list.” I have been watching her for a while now and think she is getting better and better. As a setter, she has such a high ceiling and will be a very high recruit in a few years. Her smile and attitude while she is playing is contagious. She is exactly the type of prototypical setter that any coach would want for their squad. You would be very upset if you missed out on this catch!
Geli St Laurent Geli St Laurent 6'0" | RS Flower Mound | 2026 State TX [2026] 5-11 Right Side (HS: Flower Mound/Club: Drive Nation/Verbal: Uncommitted)
“Geli” is currently ranked as the 24th best overall prospect and 3rd best right side in the 2026 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays volleyball at Flower Mound High School and also for the Drive Nation volleyball club program. Ever since I was introduced to this stellar athlete earlier this season at our showcase in December, I have been watching her growth very closely. Her raw power at the net is unrivaled on the right side. She is a shut down blocker and can bring the heat with the best of them offensively. To be completely honest, I believe that she is just barely scratching the surface with how well she can be in the game of volleyball. As a blocker, she uses some quick balanced footwork to explode toward the attacker and set the block where it needs to be on the pins. In the next few years, everyone will know her name so don’t hesitate to watch her in Chicago.
Camille Perry Camille Perry 6'3" | MB Lone Star Frisco TX | 2026 State TX [2026] 6-3 Middle (HS: Lone Star/Club: Drive Nation/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Camille is currently ranked as the 4th best overall prospect and top middle in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays volleyball for Lone Star High School and also plays for the Drive Nation program. I wrote an article on her recently when we added her to the State Rankings and here is a refresher of what I wrote, “The booming sound that is heard throughout the entire gym when she gets a hold of a ball is amazing. She has a long reach that helps her stuff block would-be attackers with ease. Her height, reach, and power are elite and that is what the casual observer will see, however I also see someone who understands timing of transition and hitting around a block. She will beat the block by going up very quickly to attack, but if for some reason the opposing blocker goes up with her, Camille has the amazing ability to turn while in mid-air and hit around the block to the weak side.” The amount of raw, natural power this young lady has at such a young age is unreal and it will be on full display in Chicago in a few weeks. She has the foot-speed to close out blocks on both pins and the stamina to stay in a long rally. One aspect that will get overlooked, due to everyone gawking at her power, is her awesome eye tracking of the ball. She is a very intuitive blocker and is always in the right place at the right time. Miss Perry is the real deal.
Brooke Lacewell Brooke Lacewell 6'0" | RS Boswell | 2026 State TX , Ashlyn Seay Ashlyn Seay 6'0" | OH Byron Nelson | 2026 State TX ,and Ryea Jackson Ryea Jackson 6'2" | MB IMG Academy | 2026 State TX are three very strong ballers at the net for this awesome squad. Libero Lauren Scheiden keeps the rally going for this talented team in the back row. Don’t sleep on this team because they can go on a solid run in the National division. Look for them to be in contention throughout the whole tourney.
