2027 Prospects Ball Out: MO/KS Freshman Showcase Part One

The Shawnee Mission Northwest freshman made an early argument to be included near the top of the Class of 2027 rankings. That dig on Court Three garnered a collective “Oh my” from onlookers. She has solid footwork and makes consistent first passes. She will be a player to watch and see how her game evolves. The six-footer has a long toro and a big reach. She is lean and mean. She will be an even more dangerous weapon if she works hard in the weight room and adds extra upper body strength. She is a more physical hitter than Webb, but she's not quite as quick. She has a tight-compact swing that produces some real heat. Her tip game was on point when I watched her play. She has strong arms and an accurate touch. I felt like she was the best setter from the Class of 2027 participants. She can push the ball to the pin and has pistons for her legs giving her a solid foundation. She can jump and plays with high energy. She is long and strong but needs to improve her on-court confidence and develop a mean streak. If she wants to dominate a game, she has the skills to do it, but she is young and needs to convince herself that she can take over a match.
