Some of the athletes on this list have been on my radar, while others exploded onto my radar for the first time at the showcase.
Ava Akoubian – DS/L – Seal Beach Volleyball Club
Ava has great court awareness. She reads early on offense and serve receive and keeps her form and angles simple. Ava does the little things right and is always on the move. She covers well and is quick to react to anything coming her way. Her ball control is very high level, which sets her up for success on the more chaotic plays.
Yliana Almaquer – OH – San Antonio Elite Volleyball
Yliana is an athlete who sees the court very well on offense. She moves her shots around efficiently and is disciplined in transition. She caught my eye several times throughout the showcase. She is smart yet powerful and balances strategy and aggression well. I liked her shot choices in every drill.
Addy Azavedo – DS/L – Athena Volleyball Academy
Addy is a gamer. She was electric in 6v6 competition play at the showcase. Her defense was relentless, and she impressed on serve receive as well. Nothing got past her, and she was engaged in every play. Addy ran the back row well and had some incredible touches on defense and coverage.
Gianna Boyers – MB – Central Mass Volleybal Club
Gianna is a powerhouse middle who has big energy on the court. She has a heavy hand on the ball and swings well from corner to corner. Gianna is an athlete who can be relied upon to earn points and build momentum on the court. She exploded onto my radar at the showcase and is a talented athlete in the class of 2025.
Emma Broussard – S – Cajun Elite
Emma is impressive with her clean form. She volunteered to demonstrate on the setting court, which always stands out to me. She was fearless on the court and worked hard on every contact. She contacted the ball high and kept her body neutral in every drill. Her clean form held opposing blockers well and kept every hitter involved.
Ella Broussard – DS/L – Cajun Elite
Ella is another libero that caught my eye in the 6v6 competition play. She was relentless in the backcourt and showed her talent in all of her skills. Ella is a very well-rounded libero that was equally as valuable in defense and serve receive. She is athletic and covered very well.
Cali Eastling Cali Eastling 5'8" | OH Tri-County | 2025 State WI – OH – Wisconsin Ice
Cali is an athlete who dominates the court. She is energetic, impactful, and efficient. She is an athlete who has exploded onto my radar this club season, and every time I see her play, she improves. She has incredible potential and is a competitive athlete who always seems to be ‘on’ when she is on the court.
Adeline Emerson – RS – Athena Volleyball Academy
Adeline is a dynamic and fun athlete who caught the eye of multiple scouts at the Prep Dig x USAV Showcase. She brought a lot of energy to the court and never hit the same shot twice in a row. She became a go-to hitter on her court, where she was dominant and very athletic.
Avery Gemperle – RS – Austin Juniors
Avery was an outgoing athlete who volunteered to demonstrate several drills and was very competitive on the court. Avery is a lefty right side with a big vertical, explosive approach and a high snap on the ball. She can make any set work and was very aggressive with her swings. Avery impressed from the first drill to the last and was a fun athlete to watch.
Ava Kramer – OH – Gulfside
Ava is an absolute powerhouse pin. She has an absolutely massive vertical and an electric arm swing. She can rip balls down the line, deep corner, and has a great cut shot as well. It didn’t matter how big the block was, and she found ways to put the ball down.
Kiana Mark – OH – Rage Westside
Kiana is an incredibly talented player. She first caught my eye with her back-row play and clean form on defense. She then really impressed me as she took on the front row as well. At 6’0″, Kiana has a big presence on the court. She is well-rounded in all her skills and an impressive 6-rotation athlete.
