Kaylea Armstrong Kaylea Armstrong 5'8" | OH Lincoln Way West | 2027 IL – 5’8″ – OH – Lincoln Way West (IL)
Kaylea is a very well-rounded athlete. She can tool the block well and swing high hands – a tough skill to execute. Her serve receive is consistent and clean, and she always transitions well. Kaylea proved she was consistent and reliable at the showcase and will be a player to watch over the next four years.
Chloe Briggs – 5’5″ – S – Arrowhead
Chloe gives full effort on every single ball. She has clean hands and movement across the court. Chloe rarely makes the same mistake twice and seemed to be learning and adjusting while at the showcase. She is an athlete who never gives up on a play and is a consistent force as a setter.
Bridget Frye Bridget Frye 5'10" | OH Mosinee | 2027 WI – 5’10” – OH – Mosinee
Bridget never misses a beat on the court. From her serve receive to blocking, she has good form, is disciplined, and is confident. She impressed me numerous times at the showcase with all of her skills. I really enjoyed watching her in the transition and 6v6 drills, where she really shined and showed how dynamic she was.
Hayley Hahn Hayley Hahn 5'10" | MB Pewaukee | 2027 WI – 5’10” – MB – Pewaukee
Hayley really caught my eye as an athlete with huge potential. Middle is arguably one of the toughest positions in the sport, and Hayley has all the makings of a great one. She has explosive movement and is always ready for a set. When she connects with her setters, she has a lot of power and puts up a good block. Hayley is very competitive and works hard to set her defense up for success.
Gabriella Hambel – 5’0″ – DS/L – Freedom
Gabriella impressed me most with her form and her resilience on the court. Even when she was challenged, she never got frustrated; she adjusted and put up a great ball the next play. I love seeing that mental toughness in young liberos; it sets them up for a lot of success as they continue to grow in the sport. Gabriella will thrive as she gains more experience and continues to play competitive volleyball.
Addy Lumsden Addy Lumsden 5'0" | DS/L St. Francis Xavier | 2027 WI – 5’0″ – DS/L – St. Francis Xavier
Addy really caught my eye with her play out of middle back. She read opposing hitters well and protected the back line. I liked her scrappiness and movement in defense. She was willing to run down any ball and had a great contact on defense and serve recieve.
Aubrey Martinez Aubrey Martinez 5'8" | OH St. Laurence | 2027 IL – 5’8″ – OH – St. Laurence (IL)
Aubrey was really consistent in her pass to attack. She stayed disciplined on defence then was explosive on offense. Aubrey is they type of athlete who would run through a wall to chase a ball down. In fact, she dove into a pole to make a save at the showcase. She is disciplined and passionate player with an insane amount of potential.
Hailey Schneiker – 5’9″ – S – Brookfield East
I really liked Hailey’s energy and effort on the court. She gave 100% from warm ups until the very last play. Hailey has a nice touch on the ball and is consistent in her placement. She has huge potential as she continues to develop as a setter. Hailey has the foundation to be a great setter and leader and it will be fun to watch her play over the next few years.
Amanda Schueppel Amanda Schueppel 5'2" | DS/L New Berlin Eisenhower | 2027 WI – 5’2″ – DS/L – New Berlin Eisenhower
Amanda is a talented libero. What set her apart from the other athletes there was her consistent and beautiful out of system sets. She could place that ball perfectly over and over again. She was also a solid defender and worked hard throughout the event.
Maliyah Tuszkiewicz – 5’6″ – S – Sussex Hamilton
Maliyah’s intangibles set her apart at the showcase. She has great court awareness and makes awesome decisions. She even surprised me a few times by making aggressive choices that were well worth the effort. Maliyah has a lot of raw athletic talent and she will be a player to watch as she continues to play volleyball.
Kahlen Willis Kahlen Willis 5'10" | RS Westosha Central | 2027 WI – 5’9″ – RS – Westosha Central
Kahlen was incredibly disciplined at the showcase. She transitions consistently and always sets herself up for success. She is engaged on defense in the 2 spot and picks up tips and balls in coverage. Her swing is solid and as she continues to develop her timing and connections with setters, Kahlen has the potential to be a high-volume, high-impact pin on any team she plays on.
