SubscribeI was lucky enough to coach my team while at Nationals. I also was able to watch and cover plenty of really good volleyball. Hopefully you are already following us on social media via Instagram and Twitter. I was able to post lots of videos and updates on our instagram during the entire tournament. I will post multiple articles in the coming days covering some really impressive players. Please share our articles so that others are able to see just how awesome these players are.
Quincy Shaffer Setter for Ozark 17 Elite- Quincy is a stud from Arkansas! She sets in a 5-1 system. Her style of play and mentality fit this perfectly. She values her front row play both on the offensive side and defensive side of the game. She is not afraid to get up and challenge hitters with her block, as well as go joust on a tight ball. Not only great play on the net but off the net she has a great release that is clean. She tracks balls down well and most importantly puts up a consent ball to the pins. If Arkansas had rankings, I am sure she would be on them and close to the top.

Setter for UPVBC 16 Elite- She is a rising star for Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Brenna has a great read on both attacks and her team’s digs. i was able to see her dig multiple swings down the line and when she wasn’t doing that, she was getting a solid jump towards the net. I am excited to see what kind of damage her and star high school teammate, Arianna Brown, can do in class 6A.
Lily Berrens Libero for FC Elite 17 Blue- My team had to ref her team on multiple occasions so I was able to watch Lily play nearly each day. It doesn’t take long for you to notice her leadership, love for the game and tenacity for digs. She flys all over the court to track down 1st touch digs or 2nd touch OS sets. Her attitude and hunger to win every point is something that permeates into her teammates and gives the team a little something extra.
Emma Stewart Outside Hitter for TVA 16 SMACK Shiela. TVA stands for Tallahassee Volleyball Academy. This team was ranked just outside the top 50 in the nation. They were an impressive squad to see in person. Emma will definitely catch a fan’s eye with her playmaking ability. Her ability to play 6 rotations, being highly effective in both offense and defense is impressive. She has a solid approach and vertical, which helps her be a standout pin hitter for her team.
It was such an awesome week of high level volleyball. The best of the best earned their bids and put it all on the line for one last tournament this club season. It was impressive seeing teams from southern California all the way to Connecticut all in one location. Oklahoma had multiple teams represent our region. Stay tuned for more articles covering nationals, team previews, team camps and 2026 rankings on the horizon.
