We were super excited to run our first ever Texas Freshman Showcase in Carrollton, TX last weekend. We had some of the best freshman in the state show up and show their skills. Many players stood out to our court coaches and scouts throughout the entire showcase for a variety of reasons. Some players stood out for their dynamic physical skills and some stood out for intangibles like leadership, effort and attitude. Let's meet a few of the players who earned the honor of Top Performer at the showcase.

Grace is currently an unranked prospect in the 2027 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but is on our watch list now with what we have seen at the showcase. She plays for Hebron High School and also club for the Excel volleyball program. Miss Schneekloth has a very long frame and even longer extremities that allow her to contact the ball much higher than her counterparts. As an attacker, her right arm has a down swing that is shot out of a cannon. The speed of her swing is one factor that helped earn her the Top Performer award for the Freshman Showcase. We were watching very closely during both the individual position drills and the scrimmage drills and she was not afraid to swing away. In a few years, she will be a lethal attacker and we will be watching very closely. Please help us congratulate her on earning the Top Performer award for this showcase.

[player_tooltip player_id='433677' first='Keegan' last='Flowers'] [2027] 6-0 Middle (HS: Southwest Christian/Club: Peak/Verbal: Uncommitted)

Keegan is an unranked prospect in the 2027 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but that is only because we have not released them yet. She plays at Southwest Christian High School and also plays for the Peak volleyball club program. Miss Flowers was the most impressive middle at the entire Freshman Showcase. She was a stud blocker getting touches on so many attacks that were coming at her. She showed some amazing court vision and timing against many different types of attackers. I really liked how she was sealing the net away from would be point scorers with an amazing press at the peak of her jump. Her size will bring a lot of attention to her from scouts in the future, but when they actually see just how skilled she actually is, they will stay and watch. I will for sure keep my eye on her progress throughout her high school career. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award from our showcase.

[player_tooltip player_id='433635' first='Holland' last='Hutchins'] [2027] 5-10 Right Side/Outside (HS: Lovejoy/Club: [program_tooltip program_id='431200' first='[program_tooltip program_id='431200' first='[program_tooltip program_id='431200' first='Madfrog' last='']' last='']' last='']/Verbal: Uncommitted)

Holland is currently an unranked prospect in the 2027 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but that could easily change once I update them in a few weeks with what I just saw in person at the showcase. She plays at Lovejoy High School and also for the famed [program_tooltip program_id='431200' first='[program_tooltip program_id='431200' first='[program_tooltip program_id='431200' first='Madfrog' last='']' last='']' last=''] club program. Miss Hutchins was a complete joy to watch all over the court. She is able to play very well on both sides of the court. In order to be this good at both pins, one has to be able to adjust to different spacing, timing, and angles. Holland is able to make those adjustments very well and not skip a beat. This tells me that she is a true athlete who can hurt you with all kinds of skills. She was scoring both line and angle and was not afraid to go up against any competitor. Many court coaches put her name down for this award and that says a lot. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award from our showcase.
