The Illinois Stock Up Showcase was stacked with talent. It was two hours of intense and competitive volleyball, from warm-ups to the very last ball. It was a ton of fun, and my notes app is FILLED. I cannot wait to build articles and content around this event. Here are some GameChangers that stole the show at the Stock Up Showcase.
Savanah is an explosive pin hitter. She is physical and powerful on the net. Savanah can play across the net; she even played out of the middle a bit in some drills. She is an athlete with the potential to be a powerhouse six-rotation athlete. She was a high-impact player throughout the showcase and elevated the game of those around her.
Highlights
Lauren was one of the most well-rounded pins at the showcase. She first caught my eye during a serve receive drill. She has a clean platform and consistently puts great balls up to her setter. Lauren is also a powerhouse hitter. She is athletic and has a very high ceiling.

Joelle Pye-Blacknard
Joelle is an impressive athlete. She has a massive vertical and lightning-fast arm swing. Joelle has a lethal line shot and moves the ball on offense. She also is aggressive on defense and puts up a consistent and strong block.
Alana has a very high volleyball IQ and an incredible amount of potential. She has a toolbox of shots in her back pocket and utilizes every single one. She is a high-level defender and is simple and consistent in serve receive. Alana is an athlete to watch in her class, as she is already a high-level player.
Amalia jumped out at me right away. She is smart and savvy as a setter. The placement of her sets is consistent, and she adjusts her tempo well. She feeds every hitter and has a great touch on the ball. Her jump sets, and leadership were impressive. Amalia is a high-energy player who always works hard to put up great balls for her hitters.
Highlights
Samantha is a confident and disciplined six-rotation pin hitter with great court awareness and an explosive approach. She can manufacture kills in both the front and back row. Samantha has good, clean form and reacts quickly on defense and serve receive. She is very well-rounded as an athlete and versatile in her skills.

Elise was a dominant force in the back row at the showcase. She is consistent, clean, and gritty in her play. Elise read opposing setters and hitters very well and was always ready for whatever came her way. She played high-level coverage and was a key communicator on any court she was on.
Avery impressed me throughout the showcase. She was consistent and adjusted well to different setters. Avery did not make a lot of mistakes and was very powerful. She could swing a plethora of different shots of many types of sets. Avery was an athlete that just made plays work and was aggressive at the net.
Highlights
Alena is a very clean a disciplined libero. She has wonderful passes and is clean and confident on the court. Her ability to get touches, pick up tough tips, and react quickly in coverage set her apart. She ran the back row efficiently and could play almost anywhere on the court.
