Shayla Martinez | 2026 | L/DS |
The lefty, Shayla Martinez, an accomplished beach player as well has a standout quality of very tight and stiff shoulders. This trait makes it appear she is very carefully placing the ball when bump setting or passing a freeball. Additionally, she is as close to pushing the ball as possible. Martinez has minimal foot movement while the ball is traveling. Subsequently, her contacts point with the ball is in varying places within space. This youngster is not afraid to get in the action as she stands many feet in from the sideline preparing for a quick attack.

are the highlight of her skill set. She unloads on a ball with a high contact point. When dropping an elbow, she still somehow manages to hit with power. Rewind back a few steps and notice she has a point where she hesitates then split steps and goes. Fritzinger get from point A to point B of her approach, hangs for a little while then looks at the block. Therefore, she does not get blocked a lot and scores many deflections.
Keira Brady | 6’0″ | 2024 | OH |
The ball does not find it’s way often to Keira Brady when she is in serve receive and defense. When the rally continues, she has excellent footwork to get outside or back to prepare for a pin set or backrow attack respectively. Her approach is slightly hesitant as she finds the set rather than expecting it to be located in a small hitting window. Brady, like a famous quarterback once in Green Bay, Wisconsin, will rare back and fire away. Specifically, she slings the ball hard off the block. Additionally, she multi tasks well as a blocker by bunching in to help her middle and occasionally changing to block on the right side.
Tiffany Pennington | 2024 | L/DS |
Tiffany Pennington gets under the ball very well. She is actively watching as the ball rebounds around her opponents and one of those opponents jumps to hit. When she is reading the play, she expectantly stays low. What is most impressive is the coordination between her body and arms. Her body always moves first and then like a lever pulling a gambling machine she lets it ride to make the dig.
Auden Gofberg | 5’10” | 2024 | MB |
Consistency from the middle position is an essentially important trait that Auden Gofberg has in her game. She starts her approach from nearly the same spot every time. Additionally, Gofberg runs a delayed quick set that can really challenge a blocker. Her attacks regularly go to zone five or a tip just a bit over the blockers outstretched hands. She approaches close to the net but gets enough space to challenge the block. Look for her block to reach a height of the second white on the antenna.
