There were so many talented athletes to write about at the Prep Dig Dallas Freshman Showcase that I almost did not know where to start. So let’s start in the middle, pun intended.
Mackenzie Ratcliff
Ratcliff is a 5′ 10″ MH from Richardson High School. She was imposing at the Showcase, looked very athletic, and was able to make difficult plays with out-of-system balls. She will be an asset to her high school team this coming season.
Tito Abiba
Abiba is a middle hitter from Imagine International Academy of North Texas. Her skills shone today while beating her opponents with her blocking, utilizing her great hands, and always being ready for anything. Great job today!
Keegan Flowers
Flowers is a 6′ middle hitter from Southwest Christian School. She was impressive at the freshman showcase by being able to work with whatever she was dealing with at the net. She is lithe, long, and athletic. She is a very slick and powerful hitter that will be an asset to any team.
Parker Horton
Horton is a 6′ 1″ middle blocker entering Lake Highlands High School. She is a great blocker and very good at providing a hand anywhere on the court she is needed. She has a good platform and plays the back row almost as well as her preferred position in the front. Awesome job!
