The players listed below were added to our 2024 rankings. No real high vaulters to begin their time on the list, but by getting ranked it means at some point their play impressed. One player made the watch list.

This list was put together after the club season ended. If you did not play club, it is possible your ranking may have dropped. Other factors that influence rankings include playing for a club that does well in tournaments. The better your team the more exposure you get.

The high school season is soon to start. This provides another opportunity for players to show off their skills. Make the effort. Play hard.

[player_tooltip player_id='413083' first='Autumn' last='Richardson-Peters'] Libero (East Coast Power Marble) - East Coast surprised a number of people by how well they played. Without a good libero providing quality passes and playing good defense this would not be possible. A good libero creates opportunities for pin hitters to produce. Autumn gave them those opportunities with good passing and solid defense. She also earns points with a tough serve. Autumn ranked number 68, the highest of the newcomers.

[player_tooltip player_id='399503' first='Anna' last='Spencer'] right side ([program_tooltip program_id='494409' first='Blue' last='Ridge']) - I have watched a lot of [program_tooltip program_id='494409' first='Blue' last='Ridge'] matches but Anna putting balls to the floor from the right side got my attention. She creates kills using her instincts by hitting balls off the block. At 5'8" Anna falls a few inches short of most right sides, so relying on her volleyball IQ for success gives her an edge. Anna ranks number 76 for the class of 2024.

[player_tooltip player_id='399504' first='Tiffany' last='Blakely'] Libero (Maryland Juniors) - Maryland Juniors uses two liberos. Tiffany seemed to see the most time on the court when I watched. She creates a good, quiet platform for quality passing. Maryland Juniors likes to run a fast offense. This would not be possible if the passing was deficient. Tiffany begins our list ranked 81.

[player_tooltip player_id='395680' first='Kaila' last='Baker'] Libero (Maryland Juniors Open) - I did not see any Maryland Juniors Open matches. However, Kaila appeared at our showcase in Chicago and showed some great enthusiasm. She demonstrated a knack for the libero position, getting a hand or arm on every ball hit at her. That exposure got her included on this list. She played for MVSA Starz at AAUs. Kaila debuts our list at 82.

[player_tooltip player_id='399505' first='Ava' last='Bradley'] middle (Columbia Red) - Ava brings some height to the floor at 6'0". When you add her arm extension with her height this allows her to put up a high block. She also is adept at hitting slides. Because her high school lists her as an outside she brings some diversity to her game. She led her high school team in kills and placed second in serving aces. She certainly showed a good serve at the Chesapeake Qualifiers. Ava begins our list ranked number 90.

[player_tooltip player_id='399506' first='Jocelyn' last='Rogers'] middle (Columbia Red) - Jocelyn showed the ability to hit the quicks well. She put a number of balls to the floor at the Chesapeake Qualifiers. That was enough to impress and place Jocelyn number 95 in our rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='399502' first='Caroline' last='Zheng'] defensive specialist (Columbia Red) - The third Columbia Red player added to this list. Carolyn also goes to the same high school as Ava. Her biggest attribute is a tough serve. She also stands her ground on defense, making a good dig on a [player_tooltip player_id='180294' first='Kiylah' last='Presley'] attempted kill at the Chesapeake Qualifiers. She debuts on our list at 99.

[player_tooltip player_id='413081' first='Gabrielle' last='Carr'] outside ([program_tooltip program_id='450416' first='East' last='Coast Volleyball Club']) - Gabrielle hit some balls down from the left side during the Junior Nationals. East Coast managed to pull off three wins in the 17's National Division and the College of Charleston commit shined as one of their primary hitters. She begins our list ranked 105.

[player_tooltip player_id='413247' first='Madison' last='Smith'] middle (Virginia Juniors) - The Virginia Juniors pin hitters all stand close to 6'0" or greater. They also have a middle who stands 6'2". And then you have [player_tooltip player_id='413247' first='Madison' last='Smith']. Other than the libero, she may be the smallest player on the court, but she battles well at the middle position. All that effort gets her ranked at 110.

[player_tooltip player_id='399710' first='Saida' last='Atayev'] right side (MVSA Starz) - She stands 6'2" and positions herself as a right side. Her ability to block stands out as her greatest strength. Saida begins our list sitting at number 116.
