Lots of new and upcoming players in the Class of ‘27 and some familiar faces in the Class of 24′ and ‘25 with rising stock. Here is a look at some of the top performers:
Immediately Class of ‘25 L/DS Francie Keithline Francie Keithline 5'3" | DS/L Notre Dame De Sion | 2025 State MO from Notre Dame De Sion High School and MAVS816 Club stood out. The junior has 517 digs and 48 ace serves in her young career. Keithline has a money platform, both on serve receive and defense. Her quickness and calmness on the floor make her incredibly reliable and a nemesis for opposing offenses. An all-out attitude on every play and her defensive prowess makes her fun to watch. A ball will have a hard time hitting the floor without being touched with Keithline is on the court and her great floor moves as well. Take note of this upcoming junior!
Another L/DS for the MAVS816 club 16-1 and a Liberty North High athlete is Class of ‘26 5’2” Annalyse Cisneros. This girl has great floor command and communication skills. She has great footwork and is quick to cover her hitters. To accompany her footwork, she has a great platform that passes dimes. Cisneros has great hands to set the ball out of system to pin hitters. Lots of talent with this sophomore-to-be!
Class of 2025 6’0” OH Katy St. John from Jackson High School and Pursuit ‘ last=”]’ last=”]’ last=”]’ last=”]’ last=’Volleyball’] Club has some great hang time on the pin and has long levers. Not only can she elevate, she transitions well to give herself plenty of time to find the open floor to hit. Out of system balls she does an excellent job of finding the ball and has great body control. St. John finishes well and looks smooth out on the pin. Keep her on your radar!
5’10” Class of ‘25 pin hitter Kayla Gallagher Kayla Gallagher 5'10" | OH Grain Valley | 2025 State MO out of Grain Valley High School and PVA ‘ last=”]’ last=”]’ last=”]’ last=”] Club is super athletic. She has hammered 380 kills in her first two years as an Eagle. Gallagher is quick, powerful, and has a fast arm swing. She can blast one of the defenders in Zone 6 or hit an absolute shot down the line. Kayla does a great job of transitioning and can swing from the back row with force. Not a bad defender either as she can read hitters pretty well. Gallagher has a high ceiling!
Emily Cromer Emily Cromer 5'11" | MB Smithville | 2026 State MO , a 5’11” Class of ‘26 Middle Hitter from Smithville High School and plays club for Dynasty ‘ last=”]’ last=”]’ last=”]’ last=”] has long levers and a great swing. She swing blocks well, really elevating above the net and giving fits to opposing hitters. Combining that with her ability to read the hitters efficiently makes her a dual threat. Cromer also closes well and finishes her hits with good body control. She has the ability to hit either corner and reads defenses well. You definitely don’t want to have an overpass on her or you will pay. Keep her on your radar!
These were just a few players who packed a punch today on the court. They definitely had their stock rise after their individual performances during the showcase!
