Koceja can generate a significant amount of force with her arm swing. This helps her hit the ball with a lot of speed and power. Koceja works well with her setter to establish a strong connection. This communication maximizes her scoring opportunities.
Highlights
Koepke’s jumping ability helps her evade blockers and find the open court. In the end this creates a number of scoring opportunities. Koepke’s leadership skills exploded since last year. I saw her effectively communicating with her teammates, providing feedback, and working to adjust strategies.
Ring has refined footwork, an efficient arm swing, and excellent hand contact that creates a optimal power and accuracy. She swings a heavy arm and can be a huge influence on the outcome of matches. Ring’s physicality makes her a crucial component for her team.
Pichelman is really skilled at adjusting their timing and approach based on the pass. She locates the blockers as well as the defensive positioning of the opponents. Pichelman is explosive and fast laterally across the net.

Mlsna is a really physical presence at the net. She is impactful on both the offensive and defensive sides of the net. Mlsna drives hard and gets off the ground quickly so she is available to swing as soon as the ball gets into her airspace.

Ongna is successful because she has shown a great deal of mental toughness and composure. So often she has been expected to shoulder the majority of swings and she finds a way to score points. Ongna has a fast armswing that can put the ball to the ground before you know she’s taken the swing.
She takes a monster swing from any where on the net. Tollakson does a little bit of everything with experience setting and swinging on the right side. I saw her playing different backrow positions and swinging from the outside this week and there was no hesitation. She is definitely a talented athlete to watch.

Otto does not shy away from taking charge. She takes a big swing on the ball and has no problem crushing the line. Otto has the experience and leadership to lead Oconto Falls to finding success this fall.

Annalise Schreier
Schreier made a great connection with her setter on a nice gap set to expose blockers spread out. She is a physical presence at the net and finds a way to make help her squad score points.
Rettler literally does everything. She sets, and swings from either pin, and provides the most consistent 1st contact. Rettler has the ability to bounce back from mistakes and maintain a positive mindset throughout the game which is so crucial when she is a key piece of the line-up.
Jannazzo takes a big athletic rip on the ball and showed off her ability to make an impact in all 6 rotations. She is strong and explosive whether she is attacking or making big defensive plays. Her body language speaks volumes and she is a big leader for this squad.
