Who’s Coming: Stock Up Showcase Kansas/Missouri

Today I want to highlight some of the names that are not as familiar and welcome them to the party. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='357573' first='Vada' last='Brattin'] - Park Hill South</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Brattin will make the trip across the state line to take part in the Stock Up Showcase after a good showing in her freshman season at Park Hill South. She looks to contribute ever more in her second season from the pin after playing in 93 sets last year. In those sets, she had 65 kills and 73 digs. She played her club ball at Club North last season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='292716' first='Addison' last='McNeive'] - Notre Dame De Sion</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We look forward to welcoming McNeive to the Showcase. The defender will look to display her skills along the back row after seeing action in 67 sets. She was just shy of 100 digs with 95. She was in action with [program_tooltip program_id='428892' first='[program_tooltip program_id='428892' first='[program_tooltip program_id='428892' first='PVA' last='']' last='']' last=''] this previous club season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='542195' first='Libby' last='Scanlon'] - St. Teresa's</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Scanlon will show off her skills on the pin tomorrow after showing she can score during the club and high school seasons last year. For St. Teresa's Academy, she had 102 kills in 81 sets. She proved she can handle defensive duties with 89 digs. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='445549' first='Bethanie' last='Haag'] - Maize</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 5'4 libero/defensive specialist will take the trip up I-35 to Kansas City to put her game on display. The class of 2025 prospect is a member of the Alpha Volleyball Club. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Katy St. John - Jackson</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>St. John isn't a secret to me but it is intriguing to see how she stacks up with some of the players in the city, as she will be representing Jackson. Last year, she showed she can fill up a stat sheet totaling over 400 kills and over .350 hitting percentage. The 5'10" athlete will probably take swings on the pin and in the middle. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Samantha Kimbell - Dakota Valley (SD)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Kimbell will be making the trip from the North for the Showcase. She received very limited varsity action last year but hopes to contribute more in her sophomore season. The 5'9" pin played for MVP United 15 Red. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='219726' first='Ella' last='Bolan'] - Silver Lake</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Silver Lake had a balanced attack a year ago and Bolan was right in the middle of it in her second season. Her first two seasons saw her take big leaps offensively and expect the same this year. At the showcase, she is a player we could see in the middle or on the pin. She delivered 118 kills a season ago and plays her club ball for Topeka Saints.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='219727' first='Alana' last='Brewster'] - Silver Lake</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Brewster saw limited action in her sophomore season and will try to play her way into the lineup this fall for Silver Lake.
