Here’s how it works: I’ll pop up a random number generator that includes the 2025 rankings. I’ll generate eight numbers and the eight that come up will be the ranking of the player. I’ll then spotlight those players in the article to help give them some more attention.
There’s 83 players ranked in our Class of 2025. Let’s see who has the lucky numbers this month:
75. Alyssa Jasman Alyssa Jasman 5'2" | DS/L Canton | 2025 State MI , DS/L Canton/Michigan Elite
Jasman had a strong club season coming into the fall. She displays a lot of hustle and good instincts on where to be at the net to back up her hitters and blockers. Opposing teams have thought they had an easy point in the bank, only to see Jasman come through with a key dig.
7. Olivia Grenadier Olivia Grenadier 6'1" | MB Country Day | 2025 State #91 Nation MI , MB Country Day/Legacy
The Colorado commit is ready to compete for the top middle in the state. She’s off an running in the 2023 prep season, leading Country Day to a strong collection of wins. So far, Grenadier is showing complete control at the net, mixing in a good balance of offspeed attacks with power swings. Her location and placement has only gotten better.
81. Kylie Loehfelm Kylie Loehfelm 6'1" | OH Forest Hills Northern | 2025 State MI , OH FH Northern/MVA
Loehfelm is truly a great utility player for Northern in the early stages of the 2023 season. She’s got the ability to play at either pin and finish consistently. But, her improved defensive game has allowed her to be a great asset to the Huskie defense. Loehfelm has also been a force from the service line and is showing she can impact the game in all phases.
64. Hanna Pardon Hanna Pardon 5'9" | OH Ortonville Brandon | 2025 State MI , OH Brandon/High Performance
Pardon looked impressive in some Prep Dig Showcase events during the offseason and it should carry into a solid 2023 prep season for Brandon. Pardon can play setter, as well as the outside. She’s got a lot of power in her attacks and can fight through blocks well. This junior year could be a real breakout year for her.
48. Mallory McFarlane Mallory McFarlane 5'7" | DS/L Saline | 2025 State MI , DS/L Saline/Michigan Elite
McFarlane provides a lot of defensive depth to a Saline team that already has an established senior libero. She brings a lot of calm and control to the back row, essentially giving the Hornets a second libero to work with. McFarlane’s first contact is regularly on point and gives Saline’s offense a chance to stay up tempo.
6. Ella Craggs Ella Craggs 5'9" | S Northville | 2025 State #127 Nation MI , S Northville/Michigan Elite
Craggs is tasked with working in new go-to hitters at Northville this season, and doing so by committee. She’s taking the role head on and doing a great job in the early going for the Mustangs. Despite having an offense that looks more balanced and spread out, Craggs is running it quite smoothly and getting the best out of her hitters. Her touch and accuracy are hard to match and her composure on the floor is contagious.
3. McKenna Payne McKenna Payne 5'7" | DS/L SMCC | 2025 State #105 Nation MI , DS/L SMCC/Michigan Elite
One of the top liberos in the state, Payne has been playing more of an outside hitter role for the Kestrels thus far in the 2023 season. It speaks to her overall athleticism that she’s been able to succeed in the transition as well. Payne is putting down some impressive kills against top teams in the state. She’s got good elevation off the floor and a technically sound swing.
63. Kendall Williams Kendall Williams 6'1" | MB Grand Blanc | 2025 State MI , MB Grand Blanc/Legacy
The 6-foot middle is showing her potential early in the 2023 season. As she gets more comfortable and in-sync with her setter, the sky is the limit. When the two connect, Williams’ attacks have been nearly impossible to stop. Williams is tapping more into her offspeed game as well, while continuing to improve on her footwork. Defensively, Williams remains a solid block that makes opponents have to think about where they attack.
