Continue ReadingClass 4 was entertaining, with Westminster Christian taking the title over Incarnate Word Academy. These rankings are based on last year’s classification and will change once the new multiplier takes effect and MSHSAA releases the teams in each class. The moving and shaking of Class 4 could completely change the Class 4 rankings, but at this point, we will go with what we have. If Class 4 stays as is, we will have a two-horse race to the title, as Incarnate Word is a heavy favorite as long as they get to stay in Class 4. The Lancers from St. Pius X could have much to say about that, as they are also a loaded team. Platte County returns a solid core, and Marshfield returns enough talent to make noise. I’m anxiously awaiting the release of Class 4.

Keep an eye on the BlueJays because they could make a serious run at the final four.
8. Webb City Cardinals 32-6-2
The Cardinals made a great run last season to finish 4th and should again be in contention to make the playoffs. Aubree Lassiter Aubree Lassiter 5'11" | RS Webb City | 2024 State MO will be the top returning kill leader, and 6’3″ middle Jaeli Rutledge Jaeli Rutledge 6'1" | MB Webb City | 2026 State MO will be a more offensive threat and a monster blocker.
9. Jefferson City Jays 19-11-2
Madilynn Mithcell and Hannah Vogt Hannah Vogt 5'7" | S Jefferson City | 2024 State MO return to lead the Jays this year, attacking and running the 6-2 offense. Ava Reeser Ava Reeser DS/L Jefferson City | 2024 State MO and Aydia Mayotte Aydia Mayotte 5'6" | DS/L Jefferson City | 2025 State MO have the backcourt locked down. 10. Glendale Falcons 16-13-3
With the top five attackers back, Glendale’s season looks very promising. Avery Kinney is the top returning setter, and Libby Allen is patrolling the net; the Falcons have a legitimate opportunity to make noise come late October.
