We've looked at all the positions in class and only have the pins left to target. Today we will look at players on both the left and right pins and examine players we think will make a larger impact in 2023.

[player_tooltip player_id='357615' first='Piper' last='Bahr'] - 2026 - Lee's Summit North

Bahr showed she will be a player to keep an eye on for the coming years. She contributed in her freshman year with 129 kills and 91 digs.

[player_tooltip player_id='222066' first='Naima' last='Makachia'] - 2026 - Staley

The 5'10" pin is capable of making players on either pin. In her first season in the green and black, she delivered 127 kills in 74 sets. With a year under her belt, expect her to potentially reach the 200 kills mark in 2023.

[player_tooltip player_id='237010' first='Izzie' last='Rysanek'] - 2026 - Oakville

The St. Louis area has quite a few young pins who had good first years last fall and Rysanek was one of those players. The biggest improvement we will see is in her hitting percentage. Her kill numbers were solid with 111 in 65 sets.

Izzy Bowen - 2025 - Raymore Peculiar

The South Kansas City product, Bowen showed she will have a promising high school career after seeing most of her numbers take huge jumps from year one to year two. Year three should see more than 147 kills and 198 digs from her six rotation role in 2022.

Peyton Ray - 2025 - Carthage

Southwest Missouri is represented by the junior pin, Peyton Ray. She averaged right around a kill and a half last year. She will be depended on to carry more of the offensive load in 2023.

[player_tooltip player_id='222247' first='Jordyn' last='Krebs'] - 2025 - Blue Springs South

Krebs is a young opposite who found her way into the varsity lineup last fall. She had a productive season, tallying 114 kills on the year. At 6'0", also look at her blocking numbers to take a leap.

[player_tooltip player_id='169898' first='Kat' last='Luth'] - 2025 - Kirkwood

Luth was tossed in the fire her first year and gained some valuable varsity experience. In her second season, she saw her game improve and her stats grow in kills and digs. In her third year, expect to see that trajectory continue to go in the positive direction. She had 106 kills last fall.
