Bailey has her Bombers off to a solid start on the year and she will be a major factor in their success. A quick and feisty libero has 50 digs on the young season.
Sophia Podgornik – 2025 – DeSoto
The Dragons have one of the best hitters in her class and they can now claim a solid libero to help patrol the back row. With 37 digs after the first weekend, Podgornik will keep the Dragons in a lot of matches with her defense and solid first contact.

Another Piux player added to a player of the week and this time it’s on defense. Karlie has developed into a dynamo defender over the last couple of years. The game comes naturally to her and it’s evident when you watch her play. In a nailbiter loss 22-25, 23-25 to Mater Dei, IL Lane would finish with 17 digs.
Sarah Sanderson Sarah Sanderson 5'8" | DS/L Lutheran Saint Charles | 2024 State MO – 2024 – Lutheran
Sarah had a monster of a game in a 2-3 loss to Mascoutah, IL finishing with 23 digs. She is lighting quick, ready to lay it out to save a ball, and a steady passer. Lutheran will have great first contact with Sanderson anchoring the
