At 6'0, the senior middle has good athleticism to complement her court sense and awareness on the offensive side to change her attack points so she can score with power or by exploiting open space in the opposing defense. She is leading the Pirates offensively this season at 2.4 kills per set primarily from the left pin. The 6'2 multi-sport athlete was a 2nd team all-league selection last season after she averaged a career best 3.5 k/s. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='494138' first='Myia' last='Etzler']</strong> - Crestview<br>Etzler was a 2nd team all-league selection in 2022 as the middle shared the team lead offensively at 3.1 k/s, helping the Knights to a 20-8 overall record and a league crown. The Ashland commit has some of the best length in the league at 6'2, which helps her overpower defenses with her arm as her athleticism and physicality in the air. She can swing and score through quick tempos around the setter and also get up and over the block at the right pin. She has earned over 800 kills for her career to go along with 149 total blocks.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='289174' first='Adelyn' last='Figley'] - Crestview<br>The junior is the third part of Crestview's returning core offense from their DIV state semifinal run in 2022. She closed out the season well last fall finishing with a team high 17 kills in their loss to the eventual state champions. The honorable mention all-league selection last season terminated 300 kills for an average of 3.1 k/s to share the team lead. The 5'10 pin uses multiple attack points to swing and has good arm work to make plays with power or placement that can apply a lot of pressure upon the defense and keep them off balance. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
