The latest 2025 Rankings update is up and live!
Showcasing a lot of movement throughout this class with another year of club season under their belt. Rankings are done with consideration of resumes to date, considerations from coaches across the country that include college and club, as well as college projections.
Let’s take a look at the latest 2024 Rankings update in Michigan. Looking at spots 21-25.
No. 21 – Josie Noble Josie Noble 6'2" | MB Caledonia | 2025 State MI
Onto the last part of Prep Dig’s Top 25 breakdown of the Michigan Class of 2025, we have MB Josie Noble Josie Noble 6'2" | MB Caledonia | 2025 State MI (Caledonia/FaR Out). Much like her middle counterpart, Alana Bailey Alana Bailey 6'0" | MB East Kentwood | 2025 State MI , Noble is another rising Junior with a young enough birthday to play down an age group. This turned out to be perfect for FaR Out’s 15 Black squad as they needed production in the middle! Not only did they get production, but they got a pair of middles who thrived! Noble was critical in 15 Black top finish at AAU Nationals.
No. 22 – Taygan Corstange Taygan Corstange 5'4" | DS/L Gull Lake | 2025 State MI
Another product from the west side, at No. 22, we have L Taygan Corstange Taygan Corstange 5'4" | DS/L Gull Lake | 2025 State MI (Gull Lake/Dead Frog). Corstange is arguably one of the most entertaining ‘bros of this class. A high energy, electric scrapper in the back court, Corstange’s dynamic play takes her teams a long way. With Gull Lake, she helped lead the crew to a Division 1 Quarter Final appearance. While with Dead Frog, the Kalamazoo area squad went on to place fifth at AAU Nationals in 16 Premier.
No. 23 – Layla Visser Layla Visser 5'11" | OH Rockford | 2025 State MI
Keeping up with the trend of west side products in this third part of the breakdown, we have OH Layla Visser Layla Visser 5'11" | OH Rockford | 2025 State MI (Rockford/Legacy). A long time member of the MVA cannon, Visser will be joining forces with Campbell Flynn Campbell Flynn 6'2" | S Mercy | 2025 State #4 Nation MI and co. at Legacy next club season. Visser comes from the illustrious Rockford program that’s seemingly always in contention for a title. In the winter, Visser seemed to fall under the radar, which surely will change once playing for the Legacy juggernaut.
No. 24 – Lauren Johnson Lauren Johnson 6'2" | MB South Lyon East | 2025 State MI
This player is coming off of a really promising sophomore year. A product of the incoming powerhouse of SLE, MB Lauren Johnson Lauren Johnson 6'2" | MB South Lyon East | 2025 State MI (South Lyon East/Legacy) is surely poised for a nice junior year. Johnson was a part of the National Championship appearance in 16 Open with Michigan Elite this past June. Going forward, I am excited to see what Johnson can do with SLE and Legacy.
No. 25 – Sydney Bates Sydney Bates 5'11" | S Portage Northern | 2025 State MI
Right back to the west side of the state, we have another product from the highly competitive Dead Frog squad. A 2023 All-American, S Syndey Bates (Portage Northern/Dead Frog) is coming into her junior year hot and ready! Following a really exciting club season with DF and a promising season with Northern, I have little doubt that this won’t be the last we hear of Bates throughout these next few months.
