All Libby did was take over the offense last year, push all pressure aside, and let the Falcons to a repeat Class 3 title. Libby is a smooth setter that pushes to the pins perfectly and knows how to keep the opposing blockers from cheating on her big pin hitters. She has excellent hands, is quick, and plays solid defense. Can she lead the team to back to back to back titles?
Julia Brown – 5’6” – Warrensburg
Julia is one of only a couple returning from last year’s 20+ team. She is shorter for a 5-1 setter but plays with heart, quickness and knows where to put the ball to make her team successful. Leadership will be necessary for Julia with a new roster this year.
Kenley Thornhill – 5’6” – Hickman
Thornhill led the team in assists and third in digs. She is a quick setter that plays outstanding defense for the Kewpies. Hickman will stick with the 6-2 offense, and Thornhill will again be the glue that holds the team together. Next level libero in her future?
Hannah Vogt Hannah Vogt 5'7" | S Jefferson City | 2024 State MO – 5’7″ – Jefferson City
Vogt is an overlooked distributor for the Jays. She is a quick feisty setter who runs a quick offense and also gives her team an outlet on the opposite. Hannah running a 5-1 would give Jeff City a tough setter who can also be an offensive weapon and plays solid defense.
Haley Smith – 5’7″ – Rolla
Rolla returns from last year’s team, and none more important than Haley. Haley helped run the 6-2 offense last year and hit on the opposite. Possibly the offense will run through Haley, who provides her team with a leader who can set and hit. She will provide offense on the right pin if she helps run a 6-2. If she runs the show, the Bulldogs are in good hands this season.
