Already a top middle in the state at 6’4″, Raterman will be a high D1 recruit. As a freshman, she would put down a whooping 30 kills on 45 attempts in a 4-set win over Hillsboro. She will be hard to stop this year, and her mobility, athletic ability, and toughness will take her far.
Tara Greenberry Tara Greenberry 6'3" | MB Incarnate Word | 2025 State #117 Nation MO – 2025 – 6’3″ – Incarnate Word Academy
The 6’3″ middle for Class 4 runner-up IWA makes playing middle look easy. In a four-set win over Clayton, Tara would put down 27 kills on 53 attempts and toss in 4 blocks. Greenberry is a takeover attacker and dominant force in the middle for the Red Knights.
Haley Yount Haley Yount 6'2" | MB Northwest | 2024 State MO – 2025 – 6’2″ –Northwest
Each season Yount keeps getting better and better. In a 5-set loss to Lutheran, Haley knocked down 26 kills on 56 attempts for a .339 hitting percentage. A big, powerful middle with a long wingspan makes her a tough middle to stop and hit around—another season with big expectations for the Lions.
Ava Robart Ava Robart 5'11" | MB Potosi | 2025 State MO – 2025 – 5’11” – Potosi
Potosi had one of the best seasons in school history last year, and Robart was pivotal in the team’s success. In a 5-set win over Valle Catholic, the 5’11” would finish with 28 kills. She possesses athleticism and power that allows her to attack and block anywhere at the net.
Eliana Bowling – 2024 – 5’10” – Bell City
Bowling gives the Cubs a big middle for Class 1 Bell City. In a 4-set win over Leopold last year, Eliana would put down 21 kills on 41 attempts and added six blocks. She’s a quick middle with power and transitions well to make herself available out of the middle. Bell City is looking to make the state playoffs, and Eliana will have a lot to do with the Cubs making a run come late October.
