Ella is an athlete who has been on our radar since her freshman year. She has always impressed me with her calm and confident demeanor on the court. Ella leads by example and is a talented setter who can run a 5-1. She has great form and spreads her offense well. Ella rose in our ranks from 35th to 32nd.
Grace just recently committed to Upper Iowa and is a really talented setter in this class. She has crisp, clean form and a quick touch on the ball. She is gritty and is the type of athlete that will do anything her team needs to get the win. She first caught my eye at nationals two years ago and has been improving and impressing every time I see her play. Grace moved from 52nd to 51st in our rankings.
Highlights
Ava is a high-energy athlete who builds up her teammates around her. She was a part of the talented DSHA team that won state last year and plays on a high-level club team as well. Ava’s energy and effort set her apart. She is competitive and brings great intensity to the court. Ava utilizes every hitter and works to keep her middles involved. She caught my eye during the club season with her consistent and quick tempo sets. Ava jumped several spots from 71st to 67th in our rankings.
Emily is an athlete who exploded onto my radar at the Badger Region Qualifier this season. She is explosive and powerful on the pin. Emily can do it all on the court from serve receive to blocking and offense to coverage. She takes big risks on her swings yet is quite consistent. Emily mixes up her shots and is lethal in out-of-system and scramble plays. She jumped significantly in our rankings from 193rd to 90th.
Chase has caught the eye of several scouts at the end of this club season and over the summer. She is an energizer on the court and builds up her teammates around her. Chase will run down any ball and has clean form and good court awareness. She is an athlete on the rise in this class and jumped from 177th to 120th in the rankings.
Greta seems to be unstoppable this season. She committed to play in college, competed at the Badger Region High Performance Camp, and was a key player on her club team. Greta is consistent and clean. She has great footwork and gets to the ball early. Greta utilizes every hitter and is not afraid to make tough sets. She jumped from 155th to 89th in our most recent rankings update.
McKenna was super impressive at the Sizzle. She was setting for her high school team and is very versatile in her skillset. She is a leader and shows a lot of grit during matches. McKenna is one of those athletes who is simply a gamer – she can step up in any situation, be a leader, play well, and find ways to earn points. She improved in rank from 171st to 140th.
Highlights
Casey is an athlete that takes a lot of blockers by surprise. She might not be the biggest athlete on the court but I can almost guarantee she has the biggest vertical. She can rip balls around, over, and through blockers consistently. She is a very talented passer and is a well-rounded 6-rotation pin who impressed at both the Sizzle and the Stock-Up Showcase this summer. She is now ranked 166th, up from 172nd.
Alli is a powerhouse pin who jumped from 94th to 87th in the rankings update. She has improved a lot over the past season and has a lot of potential.
