I thought I’d start out with the cool kids that hang out on the right side of the court because there weren’t as many willing to take on the important duties of the setter or putting up the big block as a Right Side. So let’s take a look at these three key pieces to the class of 2025.
I had a lot of fun watching Holmes because she brought such great energy to the court. At 6’1 she also presents a pretty large obstacle for attackers to try to work around. Holmes has positive body language and drives hard in every rally. She works hard in transition and gets excited for others even more than for herself.

Lin does a solid job on the right side as an attacker and I would have like to catch some more of her back row play since she is very new to me. She took an aggressive approach and saw the block to work around it.
Schroeder really knows how to move the ball around quickly. She does a nice job of getting it all the way out to the pin in order to give her attackers a lot of options. Schroeder isn’t afraid to use her middles to get the job done which isn’t always easy if you’ve had limited time to form a connection with them.
