It’s been a hot minute since we’ve had a commitment radar report for the kids out of Michigan.
The 2023s are off and well into their rookie seasons with their collegiate programs. Meanwhile, this summer saw the 2024s begin to dwindle in size of what was left of the uncommitted. For the 2025s, the floodgates have opened! Some of the top names in the junior class have been scooped up by some big time programs. I am sure there will be more major announcements from that class within the remainder of high school season.
Without further ado, let’s catch you up on all the big commitments coming out of Michigan since we last updated!
Be sure to click on the links to see the official announcements below
Karlie Vogelheim Karlie Vogelheim 5'11" | MB Brighton | 2024 State MI to The Citadel
5’10 MB – Brighton/L2
An OG from the newly formed L2 club out of Brighton, MI, Karlie Vogelheim Karlie Vogelheim 5'11" | MB Brighton | 2024 State MI is having herself quite the epic send off this senior year. Kicking off the year with the announcement of her commitment to The Citadel, Vogelheim has since been leading the Brighton Bulldogs to a top five ranking in Division 1. The undersized middle blocker has become quite the threat throughout her prep career.
Isabelle Busignani Isabelle Busignani 6'1" | OH Marian | 2025 State #73 Nation MI to Cincinnati
6’0 OH – Marian/Michigan Elite
One of the top recruits since the early days of her career, Isabelle Busignani Isabelle Busignani 6'1" | OH Marian | 2025 State #73 Nation MI is a pioneer in this stacked 2025 class. Busignani has had quite the decorated career already. 2 state championships with Marian HS, AAU National Runner-Up in 16 Open and a 3x All-American in open, Busignani still has plenty of high school ball left. She’ll be joining the wave of talent heading to the Big XII, including recent Lake Orion graduate Nina Horning at Cincinnati.
Mallory Reck Mallory Reck 5'10" | RS Northville | 2025 State MI to Marist
5’10 OH/OPP – Northville/Legacy
A part of a really talented squad out of Legacy, Mallory Reck Mallory Reck 5'10" | RS Northville | 2025 State MI has seen her game improved leaps and bounds over the last year or so. A middle blocker at one point early in her career, Reck has since grown to a be a legit six rotation pin attacker. Taking after older sister Abigail Reck (Northeastern), Mallory will be taking her collegiate career to the east coast with Marist Volleyball. Reck has been playing a major role for No. 1 Northville this fall and will be hunting for a state title to go along with her national title from 2022.
Greta McKee Greta McKee 5'5" | DS/L Northville | 2024 State MI to Wright State
5’5 L – Northville/L2
Another Northville product, this is one of the most stacked benches in all of Michigan this year with their Division 1 prospects. Greta McKee Greta McKee 5'5" | DS/L Northville | 2024 State MI comes from a long line of high level defensive products from the Mustang cannon. McKee, a starter from a season ago, has took over the libero jersey and has yet to look back this season. Northville currently sits atop the Division 1 rankings and can credit this to the defensive leadership from McKee. This marks another year Wright State brings in a product from Michigan. If McKee pans out at all like current freshman phenom, Reilly Zegunis, Wright State will be a tough program to take on these next several years.
Addison Newblatt Addison Newblatt 5'9" | OH Clarkston | 2025 State MI to Fordham
5’9 L – Clarkston/Michigan Elite
A national champion her freshman year and then a national runner-up finish this past club season. If there’s anything to know about Addison Newblatt Addison Newblatt 5'9" | OH Clarkston | 2025 State MI , it’s that she plays to win! An impact DS with a wicked hammer out of the backrow, Newblatt could really be quite the utility player for any program she joins. Luckily for Fordham, she’ll be heading to the big apple where Newblatt will look to lead the Rams to many wins in the Atlantic 10 conference.
