The outside hitter is second overall offensively in the Greater Catholic Coed league. She has put up some big numbers recently in conference play including 26 kills in their 3-2 win over Carroll followed by another 17 terminations versus Chaminade-Julienne. Thompson has great court vision at the top of her approach pattern to move the ball around with power or finesse. The Fairmont commit is better on the defensive side this season as well with a career best average of 12 digs per match. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='239169' first='Jillian' last='Gdovin'] - Ranked #51<br>Gdovin is leading Mayfield offensively as she is the prolific arm for the Wildcats and one of the best in the Western Reserve, currently number two in production at 3.9 k/s. She has a big arm and can generate some big pace on the left pin as she elevates well and swings with relentless aggressiveness. She is closing in on 800 career kills and is likely to surpass that total in the coming week. As her offensive production has been a big factor for Mayfield for three varsity seasons, she is putting up career best numbers defensively as well with 10.5 digs per match. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='435239' first='Fiona' last='Cooper'] - Ranked #70<br>Cooper, the primary distributor for Revere, is having a solid season as she has dished 345 assists for a 8.6 a/s average. Revere is 14-2 overall and hitting at a collective .305 efficiency largely due to Cooper's decision-making and location. She gets her attackers involved well from all over the floor helping to generate good quality opportunities. Cooper is a great server as well as she is among team leaders in total aces with 44 so far on the season. She also adds 2.2 blocks and 6.5 digs per match. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='114582' first='Ruby' last='Klusman'] - Ranked #83<br>Currently #10 in the GGCL among kills leaders, Klusman has been a consistent contributor for a Mercey McAuley offense that has more balance and effectiveness in their production this season. The Wolves, 13-2 overall, are the state's top-ranked Division II team in the most recent poll. At 2.3 k/s, Klusman is well on her way to repeat her effort from 2022 in which she earned 239 kills as she has over 100 kills at the midpoint of the season. She gets it done in other areas as well as the Morehead State commit is top 10 in the league in total service aces and digs as well. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='239943' first='Adella' last='Rodriguez'] - Ranked #92 (*pictured)<br>The Fairmont commit is once again a significant factor for Clay volleyball. At 3.6 k/s, she is leading the Eagles offensively as she is swinging more aggressively and with efficiency. Her .241 clip is a solid number given how much offense she generates off of her arm for Clay as the primary threat on the left pin. She has 842 career kills and a shot to perhaps get to 1,000 when all is said and done, especially given her best two outputs came in their most recent matches as she hammered 23 and 22 kills in their consecutive wins over Napolean and Springfield last week.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
