Entering her junior season, Wolf had previously earned nearly 600 kills over her first two seasons. She is putting up a career best average with over 200 kills in 2023 as the season has recently passed the midpoint. At 4.3 k/s, Wolf if leading Ross offensively as they have earned an overall record of 11-3. The 6’2 middle has great physical tools and a big arm. Wolf has improved the range of her offense including attack points and tempos around the setter as well as at the pins on the left side and overhead off of one foot.

Culler’s offensive prowess has been on point all season as she has terminated in double-figure kills in every single match for a career best 5.0 k/s average. Her .302 efficiency is a good indication of her effectiveness as Archbold’s top offensive threat. With four matches this season over 20 kills, she had a career best 30 kills in tight five set loss to Defiance earlier this season. Culler has a big arm at the top of her lift as she can swing for good pace while also adding more finesse and off-speed control. She has a shot to surpass the 1,000 career kills mark by the end of this season.

Terrill is among the best in this class regarding the balance of contributions she makes for her team. Highland is 14-2 overall as she provides a lot across multiple phases of the game. Similar to 2022, she is just ahead of nine assists per set while second on the team offensively at 2.4 k/s. As a setter, she has the benefit of the state’s leading offensive threat on her side and Terrill has done some great work to help drive that success through her distribution. She should surpass her previous two seasons for total kills as she is just over 400 total kills for her career. Recently surpassing 1,300 career assists, she is on average from a season ago defensively at 11 digs per match.

Gaines has been huge for Roger Bacon so far in 2023 as she leads the Spartans offensively at 3.7 k/s. The 5’10 pin is one of the most athletic and physical arms in the greater Cincy area and she is putting up career best numbers. Gaines is certain to surpass her previous season best of 316 total kills as her effectiveness includes her best efficiency at .343. She is a key factor defensively at nearly nine digs per match. The Spartans are on a six-match win streak all in 3-0 sweep fashion. Over that stretch Gaines terminated a total of 63 kills for a 3.5 k/s average and a .312 efficiency to help them improve to 8-0 in conference play.

The 6’2 outside hitter is having the best varsity season of her career as she is averaging her best output at 4.6 k/s on a .311 efficiency. Her best effort this season was a huge stat line with 26 kills on a .469 efficiency and a season’s best 22 digs in a 3-1 win over Lakewood. She uses her length well as she can create a high contact point while also showing good range to swing through the full court. North Royalton is 11-3 overall and sitting third in the Suburban-National league. Kostyack is second overall in offensive production in the conference.
