We have been watching the 2025 class very closely throughout the entire club season. A lot of the analysis has come from watching these players in person and also by watching the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone’s recruiting profiles. We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects. The following players showed us all that they deserved to be moved up the rankings due to their individual performances.
Mya Allen Mya Allen 5'11" | OH Reagan | 2025 State #148 Nation TX [2025] 5-11 Outside (HS: Reagan/Club: San Antonio Juniors /Verbal: Uncommitted)
Miss Allen is now currently ranked as the 21st best overall prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays at Reagan High School and the San Antonio Juniors volleyball club. We have covered her for the past few years and she is still making some serious waves in the sport. I was also lucky enough to watch her very closely at our Showcase during USA Junior Nationals in Chicago this summer. Mya is a special talent who was born to play the game of volleyball. Whoever gets this wonderful young lady for their college program will be getting an immediate impact player. What makes her special as she rises up so effortlessly to attack is how she sees the court. She uses that special court vision to move the ball around the block easily. One of her unstoppable attacks is when she goes “thumb up” and hits across her body down the line while showing that she will swing cross-court. The only hope for the defense is that the line digger can make a stellar play. Mya is super bouncy and can hit very well out of the back row also. Pleas help us congratulate her on moving up the state rankings.
Sarah Mendoza Sarah Mendoza 5'7" | DS/L Colleyville Heritage | 2025 State TX [2025] 5-7 Libero (HS: Southlake Carroll/Club: Drive Nation/Verbal: Uncommitted)
We are proud to announce that Sarah has made a HUGE jump in the rankings in this update. She went from being ranked as the 82nd best overall prospect to now being listed as the 47th best overall prospect according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings in the 2025 class. She plays at Southlake Carroll High School and also for the Drive Nation club program. Here is a refresher from one of our latest articles on her, “When you watch Sarah play the libero position, you see a warrior who has only one thing on her mind…winning. She is a player who you would want with you if you were trapped behind enemy lines at war. She always has her hardcore game face on and is completely focused on winning the rally. Her defensive posture never changes while she is moving to the ball or at contact, which I love about her. She understands the principles behind why it will help her and has been trained very well at it. Miss Mendoza is always in a great position to play the ball on defense because she keeps her eyes on the opposition and can anticipate where the ball will go.” Every scout in our company has agreed that she deserved to move up. When I compared her recent play to all other liberos, it was a no brainer on where she would be listed. During the club season, she proved to be invaluable to her squad as she kept them in every match they played due to her awesome serve receive and defense. Now in the high school season she is flexing her muscles once again and showing why she is so formidable in the back row.
Mary Beth Morse Mary Beth Morse 5'11" | OH Southlake Carroll | 2025 State TX [2025] 6-0 Right Side/Middle (HS: Southlake Carroll/Club: Texas Advantage Volleyball/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Another huge jump in the rankings belongs to Miss Morse. MB went from being ranked as the 72nd best overall prospect to now being ranked as the 52nd best overall prospect in the 2025 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She plays for Southlake Carroll High School and will play club for Texas Advantage this year. We profiled her a while back after we watched her in person at one of our showcases and here is a little from the article, “Mary Beth was a dominating force at the net during scrimmage play. I was super excited to move her up to the top courts and she how she stacked up. MB showed us that she not only belonged at that level, she was one of the top performers. The cream usually rises to the top during multiple matches and that is exactly what happened when Miss Morse took the court. Her power was unmatched and she showed a great presence at the net while blocking. Routinely she shut down would be point scorers from the opposition and then transitioned to score herself. What truly stood out, other than her immense power, was her technical footwork, which allowed her to be in a perfect position to attack at a high level.” The scary part is that she has gotten even better now. Her play at the net is ready for some college to agree and add her to their roster. In the meantime we will love continuing to cover her pursuit of excellence on the volleyball court. Please help us congratulate her on moving up twenty spots in our prestigious state rankings.
