State
OH
– Mount Notre Dame
In her first significant action at the varsity level this season, Geselbracht is contributing respectable numbers to help MND stay competitive in the tough GGCL under new coaching leadership. The 6’1 middle has some of the best length for the Cougars and has steadily improved her footwork and movement patterns to take better advantage of her size and athleticism. She has good quickness and gets off the floor well to attack with high contact. She was key in MND’s recent 3-2 win over defending DI champion Ursuline as she had 12 kills on a .370 efficiency to go along with three blocks. Offensively she is among the top 10 in total kills in the conference.

– Mohawk
Way ahead of her first-year numbers in 2022, Klopp is a big factor offensively for the unbeaten Warriors. Mohawk is 12-0 overall with an unblemished 7-0 Northern 10 league record. Klopp leads the team at 5.3 k/s and a team high efficiency of .308. In their recent 3-1 victory over Columbian she established a new single match career high with 30 kills. Through her reach and high elbow contact at the net, she has established herself as the top offensive threat in the conference as she is the first and only attacker to surpass the 200 total kills mark this season.

Kyle is continuing to solidify herself as one of the best defensive and ball control prospects in the ECC while also showing her versatility with recent opportunities to contribute on the offensive side of the ball for the Warriors. She currently leads the league with 238 total digs recently eclipsing her total output from 2022. In Lebanon’s recent two matches she has earned 17 total kills including 11 in their 3-1 win over Milford to go along with her match high 27 digs.

– Miami East
With a near 50% kill rate, Lawrence has increased her contributions as a primary threat for Miami East. She is getting her work done efficiently as the 6’0 middle is averaging 4.4 k/s on a .310 efficiency. She is an athletic middle that extends well upon contact. She creates a big touch point and can deliver with good power. Lawrence has also shown some versatility to score from other locations away from the quick tempo options around the setter. In addition to her offense, she has elevated her contributions on the defensive side to 2.0 blocks and 5.5 digs per match. She has twice surpassed the 20 kills mark in a single match, most recently in their 3-0 win over Riverside last week with new career best 23 terminations.
Corrin Luginbill – Pandora-Gilboa
Luginbill is following up her freshman season with a bigger impact for the Rockets as her numbers all around have increased. With 189 total kills in 2023 she is earning 4.2 k/s, up from her 3.0 k/s from 2022. She is doing more with her opportunities as well given her efficiency which has increased to .279 along with a 44% kill rate. She is on a hot streak as well as she has earned double-figure kills in their last eight matches as the stretch started with a career best 25 kills versus Allen East. The awareness she has when attacking in the middle is a big asset as she has the ability to swing with good pace around the block.
