The social media and team celebrations surrounding these athletes are so fun, and I would like to highlight some of them that have come across my social media recently. I am sure this is not an exhaustive list, but want to celebrate those that I know of.
Abby Winkelman
Abby Winkelman
Abby is a setter who I have had the opportunity to see play multiple times. She has a soft touch on the ball great ball control. Abby is very consistent and can put up a clean set from nearly anywhere on the court. She has played on varsity since her freshman year and earned significant playing time since her sophomore year. Reaching the 1,000 assists mark mid-way through her senior year is an amazing accomplishment!
Kaitlin Muecke Kaitlin Muecke 5'9" | RS Grafton | 2025 WI
Kaitlin Muecke Kaitlin Muecke 5'9" | RS Grafton | 2025 WI
Kaitlin recently reached the 1,000-assist mark, and she is only halfway through her junior season. Watching the number keep rising over the next season and a half will be impressive. Kaitlin is a setter who knows her hitters and places the ball to set them up for success. She runs a gritty offense and is a solid defender as well.
Sylvia is another junior who has reached the 1,000 assists mark. She has so much volleyball left in her high school career and is already reaching huge milestones. Sylvia works hard on and off the court to improve her game, and she has thrived playing at the fast pace of the varsity level for the past two years. This is only her second year on varsity, and she has already almost matched her total assists from last season.

Madison Quest Madison Quest 6’3″ | OH DSHA | 2025 State #13 Nation WI is one of the best volleyball players in the state and the top in her class. This Wisconsin commit recently passed the 1,000-kill mark early in her junior season. She has been a key player on this varsity team since her freshman year and has dominated every moment she is on the court.
It is only fitting that Jordan reached her 1,000 assist mark not long after Madison reached 1,000 kills. Jordan runs the DSHA offense like a well-oiled machine and was a key player in their state championship run last season. She is continuing her dominance this season and has only elevated her game.

One thousand digs in a high school career is not a stat you see very often, but Claire has managed to do it. Claire has stats logged on varsity since her sophomore year and has not stopped picking up balls ever since. Claire is an incredibly talented defender and can stop even the toughest hitters in their tracks.
Madison reached 1,000 career assists this week as a junior. She is one of the hardest workers on the court and has only continued elevating her game every time she steps on the court. Madison is consistent and gritty in her play and has near-perfect hands.
Highlights
Courtney recently reached the 1,000 assist mark for Columbus Catholic. This is an accomplishment in and of itself; however, it is even more impressive because she swings when she is in the front row. So, these assists come from only setting half of the time. Courtney is such a leader and gamer – she can consistently play at a high level throughout high school and club.
London is an incredibly talented lefty right side who can execute both in and out of system. She recently earned 1,000 kills, and it is very well deserved. London can play all six rotations but thrives in the front row as a blocker and on offense. She can rip through nearly any block and finds great ways to earn points. What makes this moment even sweeter is London’s younger sister Lily set her on her 1,000th kill.
Jazelle is another athlete who sets and hits. She recently hit the 1,000 assist mark and is only a few kills away from 1,000 career kills. That is a truly incredible number. Her impact in all six rotations is key to Athens’s success. She is an all-around athlete who also has the potential to hit the 1,000 dig mark this season.
