[player_tooltip player_id='536137' first='Katelyn' last='Cook'] | 2024 | OH | Archbishop Mitty High School
Anyone good in a small space, like [player_tooltip player_id='536137' first='Katelyn' last='Cook'], is certain to excel on the volleyball court. She shows this in the length of her hitting approach. When hitting, Cook will usually start at about the 10 foot line and get the most out of that distance. Once in the air she winds up and hits away from a blocker. When a solid well formed block is there, she has a devastating tip that cascades over the block for what must seem like miles to run for a defender. Her teammates look up to her. That is likely because of the efficiency she hits with.

Makenna Crosson | 6'2" | 2026 | OH/OPP | Archbishop Mitty High School
Makenna Crosson already provides highlight reel plays. The amazing part of her game is that it really does not matter where she starts her approach. Her length and adaptability make it possible for her to hit almost any set delivered her way. With that, the expectation her teammates have is that she will score the point. This is clear when watching their movement while she is about to hit. Additionally, Crosson is a drive the ball deep cross court hitter by nature.

[player_tooltip player_id='211267' first='Amiya' last='Kuchibhotla'] | 6'3" | MB | Archbishop Mitty High School
Spanning from almost all the way to the left antenna across the net horizontally, [player_tooltip player_id='211267' first='Amiya' last='Kuchibhotla'] is a hitter requiring a lot of attention to defend. She seemingly has a good rhythm with a setter on her slide attack. Kuchibhotla is yet another hitter in the Lion offense to expect high efficiency. Specifically, she looks to bring the ball back into the court opposite of where the setters sets her.

Katelyn Leong | 5'8" | 2024 | OH | Archbishop Riordan High School
Starting with her defense, Katelyn Leong is excellent at taking off some pace that a hitter hits with. Specifically, she absorbs the ball when she digs by keeping it close to her body on contact. When hitting, she is a smart attacker that will change her shot when needed. She will get repeat set in rallies and this is when her attacking intelligence shows. Additionally, this makes her a great hitter when the pass is not quite exactly to target. She gets outside the court which opens up many locations to hit successfully into the court.

Melissa Chiao | 5'9" | 2025 | OH | Archbishop Riordan High School
The coordination to accelerate legs and abruptly stop an arm is a motor skill Melissa Chiao has seemingly mastered. Her approach makes one think that she expects consistency. Her setters will appreciate this developed skill of stopping her arm to adjust to a set. That is difficult to block with the timing disruption caused. Additionally, her game seems playful with a middle blocker. Chiao will hit one inside the middle and then change it up and hit in the seam between two blockers. She is fun to watch.
