Morgan Guardado | 2025 | S | Saugus High School
Setting middles can be very effective yet difficult way to run an offense and Morgan Guardado continues to prove to be up for it. She makes one handed sets, jumps sets, and keep the path of the set the same. On six different occasions this season, Guardado has recoded a double double. When she does that, it is in the assists and digs categories with one exception. That being a 13 ace performance. Specifically, her jump float serve consistently hit a target coming from a low contact point and travel low across the net. She had near triple double performances with matches that she got halfway to double digits in blocks and kills.
Natalie Walsh | 5’8″ | 2025 | S | Minarets High School
Natalie Walsh is actively involved in a play whether contacting the ball or away from the ball. On six different occasions this season, she recorded a double double. She did this during back to back matches just more than one week ago. How she does that is with her setting and digging. Walsh leans forward slightly when setting the ball. This provides more intent and engagement with her body toward the set she is making. When on defense, she is actively moving. Specifically, she is very much showing with her body what her mind is processing. She is agile and flexible in that she can run one direction and reach a different direction to still make a play. After a dig, she directs the set by pointing and calling out the open hitters.
Marisa Bryson | 5’7″ | 2026 | S | Pioneer High School
The serving of Marisa Bryson is what can account for tallying up points for her Titan squad. As a dual sport athlete, she exhibits excellent hip rotation which generates a lot of torque. When she has more torque, then she will generate more speed in to the ball. On four different occasions, she recorded a double double. Her early season standout performances include a double double on back to back nights in late August. She has excellent vision not only to what is happening but what will soon to be happening. This anticipation certainly helps Bryson tally up digs and assists.

, that allows a team to maximize their touches on the ball. When touches are maximized then most of the court is likely covered and than often translates to wins. Specifically, the less the ball can land on your side then the less likely the other team will score. Although she is patient, Kakkis will assert herself on the court, On four different occasions, she recorded a double double. Just this past weekend on one of the brightest stages, she delivered consecutive double doubles. It is a surprise that all of these have occurred with sets and digs because she has great arm speed. When setting she holds onto the ball long enough for control yet not too long that it is an illegal contact.
Aubrey Tobias | 5’6″ | 2025 | S | Rancho Christian High School
Just sneaking in on this list, Aubrey Tobias is a setter than can provide standout matches beyond a double double performance. Specifically, she played in two matches where she averaged an astounding 16 and 18 assists per set respectively. On one occasion, just this past week, Tobias recorded a double double. Another amazing stat to mention about her is that she is set in seven matches where she recorded less than two ball handling errors. Additionally, nearly half of her assists go to only one player. Looking at the big picture, her Eagles are getting more kills and more efficient by almost 100 percentage points than most teams.
