Addison plays middle-back defense for the Hawks and makes it look easy. Covers so much of the court allowing her short coverage to focus on their job. She also has a wicked attack for a libero. A season-high 41 digs in a 3-1 win over St. Clair.
Laura Goldschmidt – 2025 – Villa Duchesne
In the match this week against Burroughs, Laura did a tremendous job keeping Villa but eventually lost 1-3. She’s a quick and smart libero and will keep Villa in a lot of matches this season with a defense. In the loss, she would finish with 23 digs.
Claire Merseal Claire Merseal 5'3" | DS/L St. Clair | 2024 State MO – 2024 – St. Clair
The Bulldogs have a doozy of a libero. Claire sees the court extremely well and her movement is great in filling the holes in the block or positioning herself outside to take away the line. In the 3-1 win over Capital City, she finished with a season-high 40 digs.
Megan Hoerstkamp – 2026 – New Haven
Class 1 powerhouse Shamrocks has a young and talented libero who’s been hard at work keeping her team in matches. Reads the hitters and is quick enough to cover the floor extremely well. In the 2-3 loss to Montgomery County, she finished with a career-high 28 digs.
Sophie Steinbrueck Sophie Steinbrueck 5'4" | DS/L Seckman | 2026 State MO – 2026 – Seckman
With a 3-2 win over Mehlville Steinbrueck was a monster in the backrow and helped her team take the win. A career high of 32 digs moved her up to the top of the Saint Louis Metro area for digs in a match. She’s a natural libero and super quick and has a textbook dive to keep the balls alive.
