<p>Prep Dig will be covering multiple matches every week and featuring the players that stand out the most for their performances over the course of the season, but we'll also preview some matches that have the potential to be very interesting ones. Here's one of them:</p>

<p>Austin's Westlake will take a break in district play to face one of the strongest teams in the state right after having their first district loss, in a five-set battle against state champions Dripping Springs. Westlake, who hold a 27-7 win record for the season, have now four wins and one loss in Class 6A - District 26. Senior outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='179919' first='Lily' last='Dee Davis'] has been an offensive force for the Lady Chaps and will very likely surpass 400 kills in the season, entering the match with 396. Freshman outside hitter Allie Hudgins has also been a big offensive weapon for Westlake, having produced 275 kills in her first weeks of high school volleyball - as well as a team-high 33 blocks. Defensively, senior libero [player_tooltip player_id='124160' first='Reese' last='Emerick'] has been as solid as usual, notching 388 digs and 301 passes while senior Reese Ramsey (501 assists) and freshman [player_tooltip player_id='534338' first='Emerson' last='Butler'] (373) split the setting load.</p>

<p>The San Antonio powerhouse doesn't take part in any private school leagues and play non-district matches the entire season. The Warriors have been extremely successful so far, with 19 victories and a single loss, and will be tested against a strong Westlake team. Cornerstone Christian have one of the deepest squads in the country, with multiple talented options for every position. This season, senior outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='182110' first='Megan' last='Fitch'] has been their leading scorer, with 197 kills, followed by junior right side [player_tooltip player_id='124114' first='Grace' last='Carroll'], with 149. Senior [player_tooltip player_id='194169' first='Maria' last='Avendano'] and Giselle Ojeda have been leading the team's defensive efforts, with the libero ranking first in digs (157) and the defensive specialist standing out with her passing (201). Junior [player_tooltip player_id='212733' first='Kaia' last='Thiele'] (284 assists) and senior Natalie Jackson (249) split time at setter, while junior [player_tooltip player_id='180468' first='Elly' last='Stewart'] and senior Olivia Parker dominate the middle with 36 and 33 blocks, respectively.</p>
