2. Pleasant Hill Chicks 16-6-1
After the 1-3 performance at the St. Joseph’s Academy Tournament in mid-September, the chicks have gone 11-2-1 with a 3-2 win over Odessa. Abygail Widhalm Abygail Widhalm 5'10" | OH Pleasant Hill | 2024 State MO has over 1100 career kills for the Chicks and a program record.
3. Odessa Bulldogs 20-4-1
Starting the year 18-2-1 the Bulldogs have since gone 2-2 but one was to Maranatha Christian Academy, KS, and then the 5-set loss to Pleasant Hill. The loss to Pleasant Hill confirms that Odessa is legit and has a fighting chance to reach the first final four but will have to get past Pleasant Hill to do so.
4. Mountain Grove Panthers 22-4-2
The Panthers have gone 13-0-1 in the last 14 matches and took a 3-2 win over Clever to bump them up in the rankings. Of course, Raylee Stenzel Raylee Stenzel 5'11" | OH Mountain Grove | 2025 State MO is one of the best middles in Class 3 and a tough hitter to stop.
5. Notre Dame Bulldogs 21-5-3
Handing Class 1 Advance their first loss of the season was a big highlight for this young ND team. The team has knocked off Central and Saxony with Brie Rubel Brie Rubel 5'8" | RS Cape Notre Dame | 2026 State MO patrolling the backcourt.
6. Central Park Hills 22-4
Central is a couple of fantastic players in Blair Sitton Blair Sitton 6'4" | MB Central Park Hills | 2025 State MO and Madison Dunn Madison Dunn 5'6" | DS/L Park Hills Central | 2024 State MO and just got the top seed in the stack MAAA conference tournament. They have a hard district with Valle and Potosi standing in the way.
7. Clever Lady Jays 26-4-3
Clever took a 2-3 loss to Mountain Grove but does have wins over district opponents. Morgon Bos brings the heat out of the middle.
8. Valle Catholic Warriors 23-6-2
With two losses to Central PH, Valle still has to beat Central in districts to reach the playoffs. Adelyn Weiler has been playing strong as of late.
9. Saxony Crusaders 21-7-2
Saxony is my dark horse to squeeze out a trip to the final four in Class 3. I watched them play at Jackson Tournament and they have the potential to do it. Grace Ozark and Clara Brune Clara Brune 5'9" | RS Saxony Lutheran | 2024 State MO lead the attack.
10. Savannah Savages 21-3-5
The Savages are having one of their better seasons and Trinaty Fansher has a lot to do with it. A big powerful middle carries the offense with 184 kills.
