Prediction: Semifinal 1 Incarnate Word will breeze into the final thumping Hazelwood East.

Semifinal 2 is the more intriguing matchup. Burroughs and Ladue had a 5-set battle with Burroughs taking game 5 15-11. Burroughs was healthy at this time. [player_tooltip player_id='207585' first='Madeline' last='Gladson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='237704' first='Gabrielle' last='Clinkscale'] combined for 19 kills. Burroughs countered with Claire Dillion and [player_tooltip player_id='222578' first='Georgia' last='Hite'] with 29. With a healthy team, I'd take Burroughs but not at full strength Ladue takes the win in 4.

Championship: Incarnate Word and Ladue have not played each other this season. Westminster and Pattonville are two common opponents and IWA beat them both. Ladue lost to both Westminster and Pattonville. Incarnate Word moves into the state playoffs with a sweep of Ladue. [player_tooltip player_id='169896' first='Ellie' last='Witthaus'], [player_tooltip player_id='245321' first='Cate' last='McCulloch'], and [player_tooltip player_id='169895' first='Tara' last='Greenberry'] are more than the Rams can handle.

Prediction: Semifinal 1 North Point will take on Hannibal with common opponents in Troy and Westminster Christian. North Point beat both while Hannibal split with Christian and squeaked out a 3-2 win over Troy. North Point has [player_tooltip player_id='195372' first='Catherine' last='Woolf'] and Cooper Griffin and their combined 530 kills. Hannibal counters with Malia Stolte, [player_tooltip player_id='450243' first='Emilia' last='Bates'], and Abbie Martin and their 509 kills. This one will be a battle with North Point and its seniors taking the 3-1 win. Hannibal is one year away from a district title with its youth on the roster.

Semifinal 2 pits Lutheran and Parkway Central in the first meeting of the season. A common opponent is Westminster Christian who beat both. [player_tooltip player_id='170035' first='Maya' last='Griggs'] and [player_tooltip player_id='737531' first='Lacey' last='Zumbehl'] provide the offense for the Cougars while Keri Piepho and [player_tooltip player_id='216463' first='Brooke' last='Hemmen'] do the damage for Parkway Central. Parkway Central takes the win in 5 to move to the finals.

Championship: North Point and Parkway Central both played Westminster Christian this season and North Point beat Westminster. Parkway Central has a tie and then a 1-3 loss to Westminster Christian. 2024 libero Ruby Murphy helps North Point move into the state playoffs with a big defensive effort defensively. North Point with the 3-1 win.
