Horton is the key for her team to get the offense going. She is a solid libero for the Class 2 program and provides vocal leadership, great passer, and is a natural libero for the Devils. She gets her role and does it very well.
Clara Villmer – 2025 – 5’4” – St. Paul Lutheran
Another Giant that has the potential to play at the next level is Clara. In the loss to Maplewood, she was the star of the team keeping balls off the floor. She is quick to the ball, reads the hitters well and a raw player with work could turn into a fantastic defender.
Jenna Cochran Jenna Cochran 5'2" | DS/L Pattonville | 2026 State MO – 2026 – 5’6” – Pattonville
Jenna is surrounded by two of the best players in program history and without Jenna not sure those hitters would get those kills. Jenna gets the position she’s playing knows her role and does it extremely well. Leader in digs for the Pirates and is one of the primary passers on the team. Her next-level potential is there.
Josie Charboneau Josie Charboneau 5'7" | OH Borgia | 2025 MO – 2025 – 5’7” – Borgia
Unfortunately, not many stats are available for Borgia but I’ve watched enough to know Josie is a next-level libero. A great jump serve, platform, and defender who takes up a lot of space for the Knights. One more year playing libero and the sky is the limit.
Izzy Herrbold Izzy Herrbold 5'5" | DS/L Helias | 2024 State MO – 2024 – Helias
Helias is a power program that’s very rarely rebuilding but retooling. Herrbold is a tremendous defender for the Crusaders and one of the best in the state as she leads Missouri in digs with 502 and passed 1,000 career digs earlier in the season.
